2 2 Overview The Defense Medical Materiel Program Office (DMMPO) has established a file sharing and collaborative discussion group site within the Army Knowledge Online (AKO) / Defense Knowledge Online (DKO) website. The AKO/DKO group site provides an accessible, secure and centralized platform that will support the Medical Material Enterprise Standardization Offices (MMESO) effort. It will facilitate the sharing of information, documentation and data/reporting, while allowing for online collaborative discussion for standardization action related topics.

9 9 AKO/DKO Main Page Now that you are Registered Sign up for MMESO Group Go to SEARCH Type in MMESO under AKO Content Hit Search

10 Main Page Search Results Locate the MMESO link Navigate to the MMESO share site Enter MMESO into the search box at the top right to locate the MMESO share folder.

11 Group Properties Page Results First time you may see a box like this Click on Created By link Click on and request access to MMESO Folder

12 12 DMMPO Site Once approved, then you can go to the MMESO Folder If you have not heard with in 24 hours, call DMMPO MMESO (OCONUS DSN )

13 Adding MMESO Folder to AKO/DKO Favorites Locate the MMESO header above the file folders pane Mouse over Defense Medical materiel Program Office (DMMP) to the right Mouse down to MMESO Mouse over to the Folder Options Click the Folder Options dropdown Mouse down to the Add to Favorites Click Add to Favorites 13

14 MMESO Folder in your AKO/DKO Favorites Mouse up to Favorites, then Click Favorites Mouse down to Files, then click Mouse over to Folders, then click Mouse down to MMESO, then click 14

15 15 Folder Navigation Click on the folder name. Mouse over the folder name Mouse over folder tree at the top of the screen, as seen in the image below, that allows you to quickly navigate back and forth through the MMESO site folder structure.

16 16 Folder Navigation & Discussions Standardization Actions folder have separate folders for each product group Each folder contains different aspects for that product group You can build and track discussions on specific objects like folders and documents Only site administrators can create new discussions request from DMMPO MMESO

21 Review File, make changes, and save as a new document ON YOUR COMPUTER. If you just press save, the changes will not be saved!
