Member of the Executive Committee of the Iberoamerican Network of Personal Data Protection. Before being appointed as Deputy Superintendent he had served as advisor to the Superintendent of Industry and Commerce and coordinator of the Financial Data Protection Group of the Superintendence ( ). Mr. Bermudez was a member of the Governmental commission appointed for the draft of the Colombian Data Protection Law (Law 1581 of 2012).

CHANTAL BERNIER Assistant Commissioner for Data Protection (CANADA) Chantal Bernier was appointed Assistant Privacy Commissioner of Canada in December Ms. Bernier started her career in the federal government as a lawyer in the Department of Justice Canada. She went on to hold a directorship at the Privy Council Office before being appointed Assistant Deputy Minister at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, and later on at Public Safety Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Sherbrook and a Masters in Public International Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Bruening is Vice President, Global Policy of The Centre for Information Policy Leadership at Hunton & Williams LLP. In this role, he is a member of HP s Compliance Council, Cyber Security Council, Global Citizenship/Human Rights Committee, and chairs HP s Privacy & Data Protection Governance Board. He serves as HP s global representative with governments, external policy makers, media, NGOs and customers in the area of privacy and data protection. He serves as Chairman of the board for the Centre for Information Policy Leadership, as Vice Chair of the board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and as Vice Chair of the board for the Foundation for Information Accountability & Governance.

4 PEDRO LESS ANDRADE Director of government affairs and public policy - Google Latin America (ARGENTINA) Lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires, with an LL.M. from the University of Georgia. In 2007, he joined Google to lead the Public Policy and Government Affairs team for Latin America and has been actively involved in the work of the Internet Governance Forum. He is also Vice President of Public Policy of the Latin America & Caribbean Federation for Internet & E-commerce; Board member and head of the Regulatory Commission at Argentina s Internet Industry Chamber; and member of the Legislative Commission of the Argentinean E-Commerce Chamber. Pedro Less has been associated Professor of the University of Buenos Aires Law School and Coordinator and Professor at the Online Update Program on Computer Law of the Graduate Law School of the same University. He is currently Professor at the South School on Internet Governance and invited Professor and lecturer at several Latin American Universities. FELIPE ROTONDO TORNARÍA President of the Regulatory Unit and Control of Personal Data (URUGUAY) Felipe Rotondo Tornaría is a lawyer from the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay. Professor of Administrative Law at Universidad de Montevideo and the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay. 8 PATRICK WALSHE Director of Privacy - Public Policy -GSMA (UK) Patrick Walshe works in the Public Policy Department of GSM and is responsible for the GSMA s work on privacy. Mr. Walshe is currently working with GSMA members and other key stakeholders to establish dialogue and explore ways to shape, collaboratively and collectively, the way privacy is advanced, managed and protected across the mobile ecosystem. Mr. Walshe has over fifteen years experience in data privacy, interception law and regulatory policy in the fixed, mobile and internet sectors. He has represented industry on a number of privacy matters with various regulatory and international public interest groups. Mr. Walshe has a degree in Social Anthropology and Development and holds privacy and information security audit qualifications. He has served on the International Standard Organization s Privacy Steering Committee and is a member of the British Computer Society. JACOBO ESQUENAZI FRANCO Americas Privacy Officer- Hewlett Packard Mr. Esquenazi obtained a major in International Relations at the Universidad de las Américas in México ( ), and was awarded a Master of Science in Development Studies by the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK, 2001). He is the current Americas Privacy Officer in Hewlett-Packard Mexico, in charge of the implementation of the privacy practices and of the cooperation with the personal data protection authorities worldwide, including the participation in international forums, such as the APEC and OECD, among others.

As such, she oversees the company's privacy compliance and risk Management initiatives in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East and Africa, and regularly works with public policy makers in those jurisdictions to achieve public policy privacy frameworks that are practical and support trusted information flows.
