14 Competitive Edge From Student Blog: Being a part of the Certificate in Global Business Culture gives students a competitive edge against their competition when searching for a position with employers. Given the nature of the Certificate, students are exposed to a number of areas that fuse International Business and a Foreign Language into a comprehensive curriculum that is very relevant to students who desire a global aspect to their professional career. Another component that makes this program unique is the international internship requirement. I had the opportunity to travel to Panama with Global Business Brigades, a student-run micro-financing organization to consult third world businesses to create sustainable strategies for their businesses. Opportunities like this provide the student-base an advantage over their peers when being recruited by employers.
*These courses only offered overseas during Winter Session.
