7 Step-by-Step Treatment Plan Detail Students use step-by-step, comprehensive treatment plans to help them accurately plan and predict every aspect of treatment prior to starting the case. These treatment plans give students the detailed guidance to start cases early in their training. With over 150 of the most detailed treatment plans in orthodontics, students can be in control of all case types from the consulting stage to finishing and retention. The Progressive Orthodontics system is the most comprehensive system available. I knew nothing about ortho when I started, but now I feel confident tackling even the most difficult cases in my practice. Dr. Collins Harrell, San Clemente, CA DETAILED TREATMENT PLANS GUIDE YOU WITH >> Consultation Key Points help the doctor make a better and more organized second consultation to the potential patient. >> Patient Reports can automatically be generated, putting together every aspect of the case. This can also be presented to the patient as a visual business tool for improving case acceptance. >> Summary Section allows for your clinic to have efficient case-by-case organization at every appointment, and a guide to ensure the case is proceeding as planned. >> Unprecedented Detail with visual cues ensure that every prediction is being analyzed, every decision is carefully made, and the reasoning behind each decision is documented. This gives an easy reference on what is predicted and reasoning behind each treatment objective. >> Customizable treatment plans are editable in IPSoft and Microsoft Word, allowing the doctor to create a custom plan through the software s guidance.

8 I am impressed with the cutting edge technology that Progressive Orthodontics developed to allow GPs to diagnose and treat even complex cases in an efficient, effective and predictable manner. Best of all my patients love the results! Dr. Dan X. Nguyen, Rancho Cucamonga, CA Case Study YOU can provide world-class orthodontic care in your practice. Below is a case from one of our 2005 graduates, Dr. Dan Nguyen. Thousands of our students have given their patients the satisfaction of perfect smiles, even with difficult cases, as you see through this case example. These are treatment results that you can duplicate in your practice with our system and support. All students must complete two cases, however most do far more. Some of our students start more than 200 orthodontic cases during the approximately 20 months of Comprehensive Series attendance. During the time of your education, you can expect to receive a return on your investment equal to or greater than the money spent on education and supplies. Progressive Orthodontics

13 What do I need to participate in the hands-on exercises and perform cases? In order to learn orthodontics and incorporate it into your practice, you will need supplies. In 1985, Progressive Dental Supply formed to make purchasing orthodontic supplies simpler for our students. This allowed our experienced instructors to recommend product to students, allowing new students to find the correct products the first time. We have continued this guiding principle over the past 28 years, giving our clients high quality products at very competitive prices and only carrying one of each product to keep ordering simple. To participate in the hands-on portion of Progressive Orthodontics, you will need to have the materials in the Educational Kit by the third seminar or second IAT module. This kit includes many orthodontic instruments as well as sample sizes of materials, and can be bought prior from Progressive Dental Supply. If you have the instruments in the kit, you do not need to purchase them again. If you want to participate in the optional anchorage exercises, you will also need a Section 3 Kit. For a list of the products necessary for your education, please contact our staff. IP Appliance/Supply In 2003, Progressive Orthodontics released the Individual Patient (IP) Appliance, the first customized appliance system on the market. This system is based on the straight archwire technique but revolutionizes orthodontics by allowing doctors to choose the optimal appliance for each patient. This customization results in faster, more consistent treatment results. Best of all, this single patient inventory system reduces much of the overhead typically necessary to begin to practice orthodontics, making it easier for all dentists to offer orthodontics to their patients. The IP Appliance has proven to be the most effective method of practicing orthodontics. Cases finish in 40% less time by adding torque and rotations early in cases. This system also uses the optimal archwire shape for each patient based on each individual s anatomy and case goals. More importantly, results are more stable as teeth have been in their final position for longer. Also, by using bracket slot variations in coordination with the correct archform, you improve the consistency of your results by minimizing wire bending. Our principles apply to all methods of straight archwire orthodontics. Our teaching system presents principles used in all straight archwire systems, then builds on this to create the individually customized IP Appliance for each patient. Instead of a one size fits all approach used in straight wire appliances, tremendous efficiency and improved results are attained by customizing the fixed appliance to each patient and treatment. We are confident that once you see the advantages of the IP Appliance you will never use another system. Our system was created by practicing dentists to solve the difficulties and inefficiencies faced in the clinic. Now these solutions are available to all! Progressive Orthodontics combines a well-developed, comprehensive series with competent, well-seasoned instructors and a state of the art bracket and wire system. This allowed me to add orthodontics into my practice with confidence after the third seminar. Dr. Glenn Takenaga, Modesto, CA TO SEE CASE RESULTS USING THIS APPLIANCE, VISIT

Thank you for your interest in Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. I created Progressive Orthodontics over 29 years ago so any dentist could successfully and confidently perform orthodontics on their patients. Previously, I felt that orthodontic courses did not show all aspects of orthodontics in a series that could be easily understood by any dentist. Other courses tended to only show their best cases, which is impractical and misleading. Since then, I have spent over 29 years perfecting a course to show the realities of orthodontics, giving students real world knowledge to perform ortho successfully on every case. We look at cases from all types, including misleading and difficult cases, and what to do when something goes wrong. By understanding orthodontics in its entirety, you can confidently practice orthodontics and provide the best care for your patients. We do not use Progressive as just another buzzword, but as our mission to continuously develop the most comprehensive teaching, best technology, and integrated support for our students. You have read for yourself why we have over 5,000 satisfied graduates from over 34 locations. So why don t you see for yourself the quality of our instruction. I invite you to visit one of our Free Introductory Classes, or a day in our current classes to see the quality of our education first hand. If you are interested in a more flexible program with online studying, sign up to get 30 days of free access to our Internet Assisted Training (IAT).
