1 EDEN CHRISTIAN ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION Eden Christian Academy families who find it difficult to pay full tuition are encouraged to apply for tuition assistance. Submitting an application does not guarantee that aid will be granted. Applications are considered based on need and available funding. Eden Christian Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color or national or ethnic origin. Family income eligibility Due to the many factors considered in a scholarship assessment, we do not offer an eligibility formula. You must apply to be considered for financial aid. Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration. Student eligibility ECA scholarships are awarded to students in Grades K-12 only. (Preschool scholarships may be available from organizations listed in the box below.) Enrollment application or re-enrollment contract must be submitted for the school year. How to apply Application fee Financial need will be evaluated by FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Service. See page 2 for step-by-step instructions. $30.00 payable to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment When to apply For mid-april early award notification apply by March 15. For mid-may notification with tuition statement apply by April 15. Applications will continue to be accepted after April 15 but funding is limited. Note that first tuition payment is due June 1. 2 APPLYING FOR AN EDEN CHRISTIAN ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP Step 1: Please read the eligibility guidelines on page 1. Step 2: If you would like to preview the application before applying, scroll down and view pages 3-11 below. (Note that this is a sample application; do not attempt to file it.) Step 3: Applying online is the fastest and most direct method of submission. Your application will be available to the Financial Administrator within minutes of its submission. To apply online: Go to Select Applicant Sign In. You will then create a user name and password so that you can save your application and return to it if you do not complete it in one sitting. Read and complete each section carefully. Please take note of the following: In Section 2, for the School city, state & zip code, enter the address of our Berkeley Hills administrative offices, Pittsburgh, PA In order to submit your on-line application, you will be asked to pay the $30 fee by credit card or by entering your bank account and routing number. Step 4: The tax documents needed to verify your application are listed on the FGAA Checklist that is found online. After completing the online application you will need to submit all the supporting documentation. Your application will not be complete until they have all been submitted. We encourage you to apply online, but paper applications are available by calling x 314 or ing rweir@edenca.org. The paper application must be an original. Faxed or copied applications will not be accepted. (Supporting documentation may be faxed or copied.) Mail application, supporting documents and $30 check payable to FACTS to the above address.
