2 What kind of orders can I place? You can place both Delivery and Margin (Intra-Day) orders with market and limit price. However, Intra-day orders needs to be sq off latest by 3.10 pm on the trading day. You would be able to see all the pending orders in the Order Book menu option in the Online Trading Module. Once the orders are traded in the Exchange, the same can be seen in the Trade Book menu option in the Online Trading Module Can I convert my orders from Margin to Delivery or vice versa? Yes you can convert your pending orders from Margin (Intra- Day) to Delivery and vice versa from the Net Position menu option in the Online Trading Module How does 'conversion to delivery' impact Buying Power? On converting a 'Buy' position under Margin to Delivery, additional amount is blocked from your Buying Power to provide for 100% of the trade value of the converted quantity. On converting a 'Sell' position under Margin to Delivery, the converted quantity is blocked from your free balance under your Demat account. The Buying Power increases on account of release of the margin blocked earlier on the intra-day 'Sell' position. Can I check online status of all orders and trades placed by me? Yes, the status of any order is updated on real-time basis in the Order Book menu option. As soon as you place your order, system validates and sends it to the exchange for execution. The entire process is system driven and there are no manual interventions. Once traded, the same can be seen in the Trade Book menu option. In addition, electronic contract note shall be ed to the client at the end of the day.

3 Can I modify my order? Yes, you can modify your order any time before execution. You can do this by accessing the Order Book menu and clicking on the 'Modify' hyperlink against the order, which you wish to modify. In case, the order is already partly executed, only the unexecuted portion of the order can be modified. Can I cancel my order into the system? Yes, you can cancel your order any time before execution. You can do this by accessing the Order Book menu and clicking on the 'Cancel hyperlink against the order, which you wish to cancel. In case the order is already partly executed, only the unexecuted portion of the order can be cancelled. Where can I see the details of all my activities during the day? You can view the entire activity in the Log Book menu option on the Online Trading module. Where can I check my Net Position? You can view your net position from the Net Position menu option on the Online Trading module. How can I square off my open positions? You can square off your open positions in any scrip from the Net Position menu option on the Online Trading module

4 Can I sell shares before receiving the same in my Demat account? You can avail our SSRS facility (Sell Settlement Receivable Shares) which allows you to sell the shares on T+1 as well as T+2 basis.i.e., if you have purchased the shares on Monday (T Day) and the Payout is scheduled on Wednesday (T+2 Day), you can sell these outstanding position on Tuesday(T+1 Day) or on Wednesday (T+2 Day). The purchase and sell transactions would be in the same exchange. Shares appearing in the Obligation menu option in the Online Trading Module are eligible for SSRS. However, the client needs to be aware that there is a market risk of receiving short deliveries from the Exchange in respect of Buy transactions which could result in shortage for pay-in for shares sold under SSRS. This in-turn could result in financial losses which shall be borne by the client. How do I allocate shares from my DP Account to sell in Delivery? In order to allocate shares available in your DP account, you need to go to Allocate DP Stock menu option on the Online Trading Module and mark the quantity of shares that you intend to sell. Once the shares are allocated, the same can be viewed in the Demat Balance menu option in the Online Trading Module. You can now place the sell order in the market. You can also release (de-allocate) the shares from this menu option. What happens to the shares that I had lien marked but did not sell during the day? The allocated shares would get auto-released at the End of the Day if no trades takes place during the day.

5 Can I mark / release multiple lien during a day? Yes, Lien can be marked / unmarked multiple times during a day. The same happens on realtime basis. How does transfer of shares sold by me take place to brokers account? The shares sold by you on Delivery basis would be transferred from your DP account to the brokers account at the end of the day. You need not give any separate instruction for the same. The shares sold by you under SSRS would be taken for Pay-in once the shares are received from the Pay-out of previous settlement. Where can I view the details of my margins? You can view the same in the Exposure and in the Client Margin menu option in the Online Trading Module. How do I mark /unmark lien on the funds lying in my Bank account? In order to mark lien on your funds you need to go to the Fund Transfer menu option where you can also see the available balance in your bank account. You can mark / unmark lien through this option. Lien marking is on real-time basis. What happens to the amount which is marked under lien but no trade has taken place during the day? Lien on the unutilised funds would get auto-released at the End of the Day. Can I have access to backoffice? You can have access to details such as transaction, Contract Notes, Portfolio, Bills etc through the Back-office menu option.

6 How do I get my User ID and Password for the first time? Once your account gets activated, you would be receiving communication with respect to your login id and password along with the Welcome Kit. How do I Change my password: You can change your password anytime through the Change Password option in the Customer Service Menu once you login. The password shall automatically expire after 14 days. After the 14th day whenever you login to the site, you will be prompted to change the password. I have forgotten my password, what do I do? If you have forgotten your password, you will need to post an Online request through the forgot password link available on the login page. You need to input your id and login id. Once authenticated by the system, you will immediately receive your password on your id registered with us. My Market Watch does not show streaming quotes. How to download Sun Java? In order to Open the Market Watch and get the real-time streaming quotes, you need to ensure that SUN JAVA is installed in your PC. In order to install Sun Java, please download the same from the login page and read the instructions hosted there on how to install the Sun Java.
