McGeown Ltd was originally established to provide electrical services to local industry within Northern Ireland, since our formation, the company has grown significantly to become one of Northern Ireland s leading electrical engineering specialists. The company has its Head Office in Belfast with 3 satellite offices strategically placed in Ireland to enable us to provide an unrivalled service to all our clients. Due to the ever increasing demands and success of the company, we now employ over 90 dedicated, highly trained and skilled staff who are supported by our 24-hour help desk. Over the years, as part of the company s drive to achieving excellence and maintaining high standards, we have been awarded many accreditations and recognitions from governing bodies and inspectorates providing our clients with the reassurance that they are receiving high quality workmanship and project management that is regularly audited by independent bodies.

We are members of the Electrical Contractors Association, Joint Industry Board, we have Construction Line Approval and are regulated by the National Inspection Council (NICEIC). For Quality Management and for your reassurance, we possess accreditations in the following: UKAS Quality Management, ISO 9001:2000 in Quality, ISO14001:2004 in Environmental, OHSAS in Health and Safety. We are also approved members of the Safe Contractor Scheme.

The Help Desk which is operated by a team of highly skilled, organised and experienced professionals, provides 1st line support and response to our clients enquires and calls. J.D. McGeown Ltd operate an IP based Help Desk platform which automatically logs calls onto the system and self-delivers the fastest response by directing the closest professional in the area to the clients request. This system is fully auditable and clients can log onto a dedicated client portal to see the action plan that has been generated.
