Different prices are applied depending on the actual agreement with Insurance Companies). Overseas visitors are charged based on Payment by Results (PbR) tariff plus premium to cover administration costs. 2 Miscellaneous Separate charges will be made for Radiology, Diagnostic Procedure, Histology, Laboratory Medicine, Pathology, Prosthesis, Specialist Nursing, certain Drugs, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Where two procedures are performed simultaneously, an additional 50% will be charged for the second procedure. Where three or more procedures are performed simultaneously, an additional 25% will be charged for the subsequent procedures. 8 6 Cancer Chemotherapy For patients undergoing a course of treatment for cancer which uses cytoxoc drugs, prophylaticantibodies or Per treatment Attendance 196 hormonal agents, the South Devon Healthcare NHS Including Foundation Trust will calculate a charge representing the Consumables excluding drugs cost of the ingredients and the cost of preparing the ingredients 7 Items for which no specific charge has been determined Any other procedure or treatment such amount as the Trust calculates as representing the whole cost (including overhead expenses) to the Trust providing services 7.2 If a patient requests personal amenities such as special food as a day case, or additional nursing services not required on medical grounds, those must be paid for separately 7.3 On arrival at the Hospital for examination or treatment, a private non-resident patient will be required to sign an agreement undertaking to pay for the accommodation and/or services afforded in accordance with the above scale of charges.
