GETECH : Getech operates from headquarters in Ipswich, Suffolk and has revenues of 30m with over 90 staff. Since 1990 Getech has developed into one of the largest independent value added distributors and provider of desktop services in the UK. BT chose Getech, as one of it s first partners when they set up their distribution channel some years ago. We are now an Authorised partner of BT within the BT Business Partner Sales - BPS channel of BT Business with an experienced and dedicated BT sales team dealing exclusively with our BT Resellers. THE BT SALES TEAM : The BT sales team has many years experience of dealing with BT. They have detailed knowledge of the BT Business product portfolio and an in-depth understanding of BT s processes, procedures and unique culture. They offer a high quality service to BT resellers, and absorb many of the difficulties which can be experienced when dealing with such a large and diverse company. The BT sales team assist it s resellers to promote, sell & re-sign BT Business contracts, across virtually the whole of the BT Business portfolio to their own customers :- Calls & Lines ; Broadband & Leased Line Internet access ; ICT Circuits and Networks. The team offers:- Advice; Pricing; Order placement; Order monitoring & feedback; BT specialist support, end-user visits for large projects, BT product information and support across the BT Business portfolio. 3 WORKING WITH GETECH AND BT BUSINESS : QUOTES & PRICES : All quotes and prices will be at standard BT Business prices and on their T s & C s. They will be the same as if obtained from BT directly or through any of its other channels. At times, BT may make specific products available through certain channels only or via online ordering only. Please contact us directly if you need any advice at all or are unsure on the availability or pricing of a particular product or service. PLACING ORDERS : To order the installation of most services (lines, broadband, BTnet etc.) we have our own in-house order forms which will give us the information we need to input directly onto BT s ordering systems. If you need to place an order and are unsure of the information we need or want an order form, just give us a call. BT AND YOUR CUSTOMERS : All contractual, billing and payment arrangements are handled by BT directly with the enduser. All planning, installation, ongoing maintenance and repairs are carried out by BT engineers or their agents/contractors. In retaining this relationship with it s end-users, BT are free to market any of it s products & services directly to the end-user. However, you are also free to deal with any new services, additions, contract re-signs and upgrades on your customer s BT installations through ourselves. BT BRAND GUIDELINES : These guidelines have been produced to help BT BPS partners and resellers understand the BT brand and how it can be used in their marketing communications. The information will enable you to clearly and consistently explain your relationship with BT to customers, whilst at the same time protecting the value of the BT brand. 4 WORKING WITH GETECH AND BT BUSINESS, continued : CUSTOMER ACCOUNT QUERIES AND FAULTS ETC. : We are a sales team, and can deal with BT sales queries. We are unable to deal with billing, faults or general accounts matters, unless it s associated with one of our orders. BT has good, effective on-line customer services at which you & your customers will find useful. RESELLER COMMISSIONS : BT pays us a commission for all qualifying orders, which is then spilt with the relevant reseller (standard reseller split is 50/50). In short, we operate as a sales agent for BT Business, earning commission, rather than as a buy sell model or the re-sale of white label services from BT Wholesale. BT s commission is paid to Getech at the end of the month after the end-user has been billed by BT. This payment is then checked and verified against our orders before payment (less the reseller administration charge see below) is made to resellers by cheque using a self-billing invoice. We only issue payment to resellers for commissions in excess of 50. Any payments under this level are held over and paid once the accrued total exceeds the 50 limit. Resellers do not need to invoice Getech to claim their commission payments. RESELLER ADMINISTRATION CHARGE : A reseller administration charge of will be levied, per monthly commission payment. This charge will only be applied to active BT reseller accounts where a commission has been generated for that month. In other words, if there s no monthly commission, no charge is made. Enhanced commission rates are paid for call revenues switched from another supplier (acquisition) and committed onto a call plan. Commission is paid for BT call revenue on new/acquired lines which are committed onto a new BT call plan.
