Legal advocacy also includes court accompaniment and support and assistance in obtaining protective orders. We provide counseling services in English and Spanish for ages 3 on up. We provide a variety of services to families raising children with serious emotional challenges and adhere to the values of Family-Driven care. Family-Driven care means that we deliver support and services with compassion, seeking first to strengthen family bonds, while encouraging parent empowerment and participation in every aspect of their child s care. We offer comprehensive assistance, support, advocacy, and education services and, last year, FamiliesETC helped over 400 families and youth through these and other critical support programs and services. Our Programs and Services include: Professional Wraparound, Project Success Program, DCFS System of Care (SOC), Parent Mentoring, Peer Mentoring, and Resource Center & Diaper Bank. Who we serve: Families, Children and Adolescents; Adults Eligibility requirements: Specific program eligibility varies; Community Resource Center and Resource Navigators are open to any individual or family living in McHenry County. In addition, mental health services include therapy, community support, psychosocial rehabilitation groups and psychiatry. Who we serve: Adults who are experiencing mental, physical, emotional or social challenges. Eligibility requirements: Adults age 50 and over.
