Web and digital resources Technological developments have played an important part in English Language Teaching. Recent advances have taken online and digital resources to a whole new level. Resources for interactive whiteboards All UDP titles come with at least one digital component, delivered via CD-Rom, DVD or online, that can be used on Interactive Whiteboards in class or on PCs / Macs in learning centres and at home. Raising standards for schools and teachers With UDP Professional Services, schools in Spain have a new level of support to attain accredited Bilingual status. Practising teachers can also develop their professional skills through a range of teacher training courses delivered exclusively online. Professional Secondary Services CLIL Visual Arts An opportunity for students to develop a thorough understanding of visual art and improve their English. Visual Arts gives students a firm foundation in the principles behind great works of art, and offers guidance for learners to produce their own. LEVELS: 1 2-3 AVAILABLE 2013 AGES: 12+ BRITISH ENGLISH Visual Arts covers all the key content areas in the ESO Visual Arts curriculum: The course improves English and develops an appreciation of Art through: Best practice CLIL methodology Examples of artwork throughout for discussion Activities to encourage students to produce their own artwork A full glossary of art-related terms The psychology of art The course is organised in three sections. First learners look at Visual Communication, including the language of imagery, visual expression and colour. The application of art Then they explore the importance of Shape such as space, threedimensional shapes and the human figure.
