Commercial development Advised Goodman in relation to obtaining planning permission for riverside redevelopment proposals in Hammersmith comprising office space, residential accommodation, café and retail space and a bespoke water sports facility. Compulsory purchase Advised the London Borough of Hackney in relation to the compulsory acquisition and subsequent redevelopment of the Woodberry Down housing estate by Berkeley Homes. Compulsory purchase Advised London Thames Gateway Development Corporation on the creation of a new linear park, footpath and footbridges between the River Thames and the 2012 Olympic Park. Development agreements/obligations Advised Burberry Group plc in relation to the development obligations associated with the relocation of its London HQ to Horseferry House, adjacent to MI5 s Thames House, and other London based premises. Development agreements/obligations Advised London Borough of Hackney in relation to development obligations associated with the redevelopment of the Woodberry Down Estate. Development agreements/obligations Advised Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead in relation to development obligations associated with the proposed Kings Triangle development. Disposal of public land Advised Croydon Council s local asset backed vehicle in relation to the disposal and redevelopment of school playing fields. Energy development Advising DONG Energy in relation to the development of Phase 2 of London Array offshore wind farm in the Thames Estruary. Advised National Grid on the BritNed Interconnector, and the Phase 3 extension of its LNG importation, regasification and storage facilities at the Isle of Grain, Kent.

Highway development Advised Halton Borough Council in relation to environmental impact assessment and appropriate assessment issues associated with a proposed new strategic road bridge across the River Mersey, near the Mersey Special Protection Area. Highway development Advised Sainsburyʹs Supermarkets Ltd in relation to a highway related compulsory purchase order. Highway development Advised Muse Developments on stopping up of parts of the strategic highway network in Reading in order to enable redevelopment proposals in the town centre. Historic building development Advised Historic Royal Palaces on general planning, listed building and scheduled monument matters concerning Hampton Court Palace, the Tower of London and the redevelopment proposals for Kensington Palace. Historic building redevelopment Advised Harrods in relation to listed building matters associated with its store in Knightsbridge. Hotel development Advised the owners on redevelopment proposals for the Berkeley Hotel, Claridge s and the Connaught Hotel. Legal challenge Advised Furniture Village on making a claim for judicial review in relation to planning decisions affecting its premises. Minerals & waste development Advised Mohamed al Fayed on proposals for the extraction of oil, chalk and sand, and the infill of inert waste, at sites in Surrey, and the associated environmental impacts. Mixed use development Advised a London Borough in relation to a public inquiry for a mixed use development, including 650 residential units, and a related development agreement. Planning policy Advised Mohamed al Fayed and the Oxted & Limpsfield Residents Group on the Surrey Minerals Plan examination in public. Port development Advised a land owner in relation to the master planning of expanded port facilities, warehousing and distribution space. Residential development Advised a multi national business in relation to a 220 dwelling, mixed use development. Residential led, mixed use development Advised Grosvenor in relation to planning and listed building issues associated with the redevelopment and refurbishment of luxury residential accommodation in Mayfair. Residential led, mixed use development Advised Oracle Homes in relation to the residentialled redevelopment of a former university campus located in the green belt. Residential led, mixed use development Advised Fairview New Homes on the strategy and planning agreements for the development of Colindale Hospital, in north London, to deliver 700 dwellings, community uses, an aparthotel and railway station improvements. Retail development Advised Sainsburyʹs Supermarkets Ltd on numerous new store and store extension proposals across the country. Retail development Advised Harrods in relation to obtaining planning permission for a pavement café, the implementation of planning permissions to preserve development opportunities, listed building consents, and highways issues affecting access to its premises.
