Sign into your Mobile CU Account. Once you are logged into your account look to the bottom of your Home Screen and locate the Deposit Button. Deposit Home Screen Select Start New Deposit Next click on the Front Button under Images. 1
Your first step will be to take a photo of the front of the check you would like to deposit. So lay the check on a dark, flat surface. Frame your check with the four corners to line it up. Try to hold your camera phone as still as possible, otherwise the image may be blurred. Once the image is lined up, then press the camera button to take the photo. If this is not what you want to do, then you can hit the X and exit back to the Home Screen. Once the camera has taken the photo, then you will be presented with an image of the check. If the image is good, then click the OK button. Once you click the OK button Mobile Banking will take you back to the Check Deposit Home Screen. You will see the image you have taken displayed above the Front image. The next step is to take a photo of the back of the check. So select the Back Camera Button next to the front side of the check displayed. 2
You can now repeat the steps to photograph the back of the check. When signing the back of the check, proper edeposit endorsement must include the following information: The words For Mobile Deposit Only, Your Signature and Your Account Number. Please make sure that all parts of the endorsement are visible. Your signature endorsement & the Account number should be visible. Lay your check on a dark, flat surface and frame your check with in the four corners lining it up. Try to hold your camera phone as still as possible, otherwise the image may be blurred. Once the image is lined up, then press the camera button to take the photo. If this is not what you want to do, then you can hit the X and exit back to the Home Screen. Once the camera has taken the photo, then you will be presented with an image of the check. If the image is good, then click the OK button Once you click the OK button Mobile Banking will take you back to the Check Deposit Home Screen. Mobile Banking will then return you the Check Deposit Home Screen Mobile Banking will begin to process the check/ image and you will see it displayed under the Back Image The maximum daily amount of edeposits is $5,000. 3
Mobile Banking will now display both the front and back of your check image There are now three line items that should be completed. The first line item will be the dollar amount. So if the check is for ten dollars, key in 10.00 The second item requires you to select the account you want the check to be deposited to. Select the arrow next to Select Account on the second line item. Mobile Banking will open up a new window that gives each of the account types available for you to make deposits to. So if you would like for the check to be deposited to your Checking Account select SHARE DRAFT 9 4
The last item to enter is your email address. Even though this is optional item, it is a very convenient way of being notified that the check has been processed and deposited into your account. Once you enter your email address, Mobile Banking will remember the address and prefill it for you every time you complete an E Deposit. Next Click on the Continue Button to submit the check for deposit. Mobile Banking will begin to upload your images. As the images are uploaded they are reviewed by a sophisticated optical system. One of the processes that each check is run through includes verification that the image is readable. If the checks are unreadable for any reason including, the image is too dark, the image is Out of Focus or the writing is not legible an error message will appear and let you know why the check is unacceptable. You must then start at the beginning by re photographing the check and submitting it again. 5
Notice on Funds Availability: The checks you deposit will be visible in your account quickly, but availability of those funds may be delayed. Most checks will post with a five day hold. The checks will be sent to the Credit Union for review and then will be forwarded on to the Financial Institution they are drawn upon. The FI has the option of denying funds due to insufficient funds, Stop Payments placed on the check, Account Closed or various other reasons. Five days will allow the FI s to verify and authorize funds. are a convenience product, but all checks must still pass through standard processing. If everything looks good and you are ready to submit your deposit, then click on the green Deposit Check Button Once you select the green Deposit Check Button your phone will display the Submitting Deposit Message. If all items are accepted as legible and there is no problem with account restrictions then you will receive the notice that the Deposit has been received. 6

Select the Recent Activity Button on the account the check was deposited to. You will see the deposit in your account as a DP (Checking Deposit) through SBO, which is the network are sent to the CU. Viewing E Deposit History To see the details and images of the checks you have previously deposited through E Deposit. Click on the Get Deposit History Button Your Deposit History is displayed for you. To see more detail on the transaction click on the transaction amount or the arrow. The details will be displayed, if you would like to see the image of the check, click on Check Front. 9
Once you click the Check Front button Mobile Banking will begin to process your request. The system will then display the front of the check you have submitted If you would like to see the back of the check image, then click on the Check Back button and Mobile Banking will process your request. The image will then be displayed in the Check Back box. 10
