Floridians are encouraged to contact their local authorities for additional information as it becomes available.** The State Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is activated to Level 1 requiring full scale activation of State Emergency Response Teams. Personnel with the Division of Emergency Management and all primary and support agencies will staff all Emergency Support Functions (ESF) around the clock. Florida Gulf Coast University Classes and activities are cancelled throughout the weekend and until further notice. Dining services will be available through 2 p.m. Thursday, September 2. All nonessential personnel may leave the campus and campus services will end at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 2. FGCU students living in campus housing will be evacuated to Alico Arena. Florida International University Classes cancelled as of 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1. Campus closed as of 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2. All university events cancelled.

New College of Florida Classes have been cancelled for Friday, September 3. Campus will remain open for business until noon, Friday, September 3. University of Central Florida Classes cancelled as of 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1. Campus will remain open until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2. University of Florida All classes and scheduled activities are cancelled for Friday, September 3. All non-essential administrative offices will close at noon on Friday, September 3. The home football game scheduled for Saturday, September 4 is postponed. University of North Florida Classes cancelled and campus closed as of noon Thursday, September, 2. University of South Florida All campuses will be open as usual on Thursday, September 2. USF Lakeland campus will be closed Friday, September 3.
