2 Lloyds of London Dwelling GENERAL RULES 1. All property must be insured to 100% ACV. 2. In all Territories risk must be 10 miles or more from Seacoast Shoreline to be eligible. 3. If woodstoves/fireplaces are used for supplemental heating, submit a completed certification, signed by the insured, accompanied by a photo showing the stove & chimney. No kerosene type heaters. There will be a $50.00 charge for this type of risk. 4. Dwellings over 50 years old must have the electrical system brought up to code. The heating system and the roof must also have been updated within the last 15 years. 5. PHOTOS - All applications must be accompanied by photos that clearly show the whole dwelling/all sides. 6. Every possible combination of independent risk factors cannot be addressed. Keep in mind that sound underwriting requires the exercise of trained judgement. Consequently, a risk may be rejected by Green & Associates or Lloyd s although the risk may appear eligible. PROHIBITED RISKS 1. Any commercial use (including farming or daycare). 2. If any applicant has 1 or more dwelling losses or 1 fire or burglary (if burglary coverage is purchased) loss in past 3 years if weather related contact underwriting. 3. Other structures not incidental to the dwelling (i.e. farm buildings, commercial structures, barns). 4. Poor upkeep. 5. In areas of high incidence of vandalism or burglary. 6. Unemployed persons unless retired. 7. Any risk with any vicious and/or wild animal on the premises. Any domestic animal with a past incident resulting in injury is considered vicious. Risks with Pit Bull Terrier, Doberman, Rottweiler, Akita, Chow, German Shepherd, American Bull Dog, Bull Mastiff or any wild (non-domestic) animal. 8. Dwellings with woodburning stoves/fireplaces used as a primary heat source or those which do not conform to the standards of the certification form. 9. Dwellings where the contents exceed $30,000 or is 40% of the value of the dwelling (25% maximum on Rentals). 10. Dwellings where the applicant has been convicted of arson or fraud related to loss on any property. 11. Any risk where the mortgage payments are overdue 3 months or more. 12. Any risk with more than 2 mortgagees or more than one private mortgagee. 13. Any risk with business pursuits on the premises. 14. Risks with a trampoline or other attractive nuisance. If a swimming pool is fenced, the risk can be submitted for consideration with $25,000 Liability Limits. 15. Any vacant or unoccupied dwelling with no prospects for occupancy within 30 days. 2

4 RATING INFORMATION BINDING AUTHORITY To be considered bound, this fully completed application, payment and any other required supporting documentation must be mailed within 72 hours of the effective date, otherwise coverage is bound 12:01 a.m. the day received by the company. 1. All policies are written on a 12-month basis. 2. $ Minimum earned/written premium. 3. All premiums (not taxes) should be rounded to the nearest whole dollar. 4.
