Located within 90 minutes drive from both New York City and Philadelphia, Northampton Community College provides you with an excellent education close to some of the most culturally diverse cities in the United States! During each semester, the college plays host to over 130 international students from more than 30 countries. The International Student Program assists you with admission and enrollment, new student orientation, advising, and other information that will help you reach your goals. Additionally, the Center for International Education provides assistance to international students with personal, academic and immigration needs. International students at NCC are an active part of the campus community and are encouraged to participate in extracurricular events, clubs and community organizations. The International Student Organization hosts events throughout the year, including international food nights, holiday parties, and beginning and end of the semester events. NCC is a fully-accredited two-year college and offers nearly 100 programs leading to associate degrees, certificates and diplomas. Our international student graduates transfer to colleges across America, or return to start careers in their home countries. They do well once they transfer, and save thousands of dollars on the cost of an advanced degree.

A Growing Community Close To Big-City Excitement NCC is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This Lehigh Valley city of 75,000 people has transformed into a hub of fashionable and exciting dining, shopping and nightlife. Known as the Christmas City, the historic district is home to Restaurant Row as well as a diverse array of art galleries, cultural arts centers, and shops. In addition, the ArtsQuest Center at Steel Stacks on Bethlehem s South Side is a dynamic multi-use performing arts center hosting live music, films, comedy, and cabaret year-round. Bethlehem has blended culture and commerce. Among its cultural highlights are Musikfest, a nine-day festival that draws millions of visitors each August, RiverJazz in May, the Latin Festival in June, the Blueberry Festival in July, the Celtic Classic in September, Oktoberfest, the Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival in November, and the many events of the Christmas season, which attract visitors from all over the world. For those looking for the thrill that only amusement parks can offer, Dorney Park and Hershey Park are within 90 minutes drive of Bethlehem. NCC is conveniently located within 90 minutes drive of the big-city excitement of both New York City and Philadelphia. Also, the cities of Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Pittsburgh, and the New Jersey shore towns are located within several driving distance and make for great weekend getaways. The JFK, Newark, and Philadelphia International Airports are all within 2 driving distance, and the Lehigh Valley International Airport is located just minutes from the College. For more information about the Lehigh Valley s close proximity to popular attractions and amenities, visit http://www.lehighvalleypa.org.

Residents have access to free on-campus wifi, a recreation room, kitchen, laundry and a snack bar open evenings and weekends. All students have daily access to NCC s on-campus fitness center, which has the most modern fitness equipment available. Residents also frequently post opportunities for nighttime group outings to local events. The residence halls and apartment complex ensure a secure environment by providing 24-hour security, card access system and a computerized alarm system. Fall housing applicants are encouraged to apply by March 1. Spring housing applicants are encouraged to apply by October 1. Applicants will be accepted, space permitting, up to the 10th week of the semester. All students on campus also have access to the LANTA Metro Bus System. ISO provides the ability for both American and international students to experience the advantages of cross-cultures. It welcomes ideas for on-campus programs which promote increased awareness of cultural diversity. Ethnic meals, cultural entertainment and dress are featured throughout the semester. The Center for International Education provides guidance for issues such as immigration services and problems, health concerns and cultural adaptation. Why Choose Northampton?
