ASIAN AMERICAN WOMEN S COALITION 2015 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION www.aawcphilly.org Due Date: Must be postmarked by March 31, 2015 The Cecilia Moy Yep Scholarship Fund was established in 1994 by the Asian American Women s Coalition to recognize deserving female Asian American high school students who have made a positive and lasting impact on community through their service and leadership. The scholarship will help the students finance their undergraduate education. We award multiple scholarships each year depending on the number of sponsorships we receive. Scholarship Eligibility Requirements Asian American female students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for a scholarship: High school senior graduating in Summer 2015 Attending a high school located in Philadelphia, PA or a Philadelphia resident attending a local high school Demonstrate financial need Participate in community service and extracurricular activities Minimum of 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale Must attend the AAWC Scholarship banquet on June 12, 2015 Note: High school graduates enrolled in a culinary arts program or visual/performing arts program are eligible to apply. When will applicants be notified of their application status? ONLY Finalists will be contacted about the status of their application in April 2015. All finalists will have to participate in an interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee in Philadelphia.
