NEW COURSE: DESIGN IN LANDSCAPE Key Course Information: 2014 ATAR: 84.30 Duration: 4yrs FT, with option to complete honours in final year > The Master of Landscape Architecture (approved for offer from 2017) is a 2 year full time course. > Bachelor graduates can complete in one additional year ABOUT > This course equips students with critical thinking, creativity and the skills to engage across the expanded field of Landscape Architecture. > The course covers all the fundamentals of Landscape Architecture including history, theory, design, botany, hydrology, geology, land types and land use, traditional attitudes towards landscape as well as contemporary digital surveying and visualisation techniques. High achieving students will also be eligible to complete their last (fourth) year as an honours degree. Students in the first year of the Bachelor of Design in Landscape will study concurrently with students in the Bachelor of Design in Architecture degree, covering topics such as visual communications in digital and traditional media, introductory design studios, an introduction to the history of architecture and landscape architecture and design theory as well as structural and material thinking.
