TCRO Operating Instructions 1 AVTranz The Court Record Online (TCRO) Operating Instructions Vermont Court System This document is intended to provide very clear instructions on how to upload content to AVTranz using the web interface for The Court Record Online system You must be an existing user with a login and password to use this system. Using your web-browser (internet explorer, firefox, opera, etc.), navigate to the AVTranz home page
TCRO Operating Instructions 2 2. Select the Login tab on the top menu, this will take you to the Partners Login page (see below). 3. Enter your provided username and password and click sign in. This will take you to the following screen (see below). ***Notice - you are directed to our SECURE HTTPS site at this point which will ensure the security of any information transmitted***
TCRO Operating Instructions 3 4. In order to upload new content, you must navigate into the "Vermont Court System folder, by clicking on the folder name (see arrow above, and screenshot below).
TCRO Operating Instructions 4 5. You'll notice 2 subfolders within the "Vermont Court System" folder. Audio and Transcripts. The Audio folder is where you will be uploading new content, the Transcripts folder is the delivery mechanism for completed Transcripts. 6. When uploading new content to AVTranz, there must first be a subfolder created within the "Audio" folder. To do this, click the "audio" folder link to navigate into the "audio" folder, then click add subfolder on the top menu of this screen (see below), and it will take you to the following screen. 5. You must enter both Name and Comment on this screen or the subfolder will not be created. We ask that you use the following standards when entering this information Name = Case Name Comment = Case Number Hearing Dates 6. Once this information is correctly entered, click Add Subfolder to create the folder
TCRO Operating Instructions 5 7. After the folder is created, you will see the screen above that shows test case name folder has been added to the Parent directory. You will also see the name of this new folder written in white text above the add subfolder bar. These navigation bars are used to show you your current location in the system. For the above example, you are in Digital Assets Vermont Court System Audio Test Case Name. This shows you are currently in the subfolder (Test Case Name) created in the previous step.

To add content to a subfolder, first make sure you have navigated to that folder (using the navigation bars explained in the last step), and then click add multiple documents on the top menu. This will take you to the following screen: 9. Enter the Name and Comment information with the same format as the subfolder Name = Case Name Comment = Case Number Hearing Date(s)
TCRO Operating Instructions 7 10. Select the Select File button to select which files to upload. This will open up a local window so you can navigate to where the files are located. Select as many files as you would like to upload and click Open, this will begin the upload process and will list individual files and their upload progress. As files are uploaded, they disappear from this list. 11. If there are multiple files in different locations you wish to upload to the same folder, just repeat the process. Scroll down to the bottom of the upload list and click upload again, these newly selected files will be added to the bottom of the upload list. 12. Once all files have completed uploading, you must hit the done button on the bottom left of the upload screen. This confirms you are done selecting files to upload and secures the folder. 13. After selecting done, the TCRO system takes you to the newly created folder and displays all the files contained in that folder.

If you need to access any of the information you have uploaded to the system, you can select any of the individual files for download, or use the select buttons and the green download button to download multiple files at once (see above)
