Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ New College of Engineering Building Programming, lab planning, design, and construction administration services for a new 90,500 gsf building for the College of Engineering and programming services for renovation of the 107,000 gsf existing engineering building, Rowan Hall. The new building will house research and teaching facilities for Biomedical, Civil/Environmental, Electrical, and Computer Engineering; Rowan Hall will house Chemical and Mechanical Engineering as well as mechanical shop space. Program components in the new building include research and teaching laboratories and classrooms, lab support, shops, student spaces, team collaboration rooms, and a Student Commons with spaces for interaction and collaboration, as well as food service; a new connector bridge, to be occupied by the Dean s suite and administration offices, will link the new building with Rowan Hall; 90,500 gsf new; $45 million; 2017.
