It is not necessary to know the foreign language you are going to teach! Are you interested? Innovative Methodology for pre-school and primary school teachers and teacher - trainers of BG, RO and TK, children and their parents. Innovative language teaching approach called narrative format developed in the previous EC Socrates Lingua Projects The Adventures of Hocus and Lotus and The Dinocrocs grow up, by the University of Roma La Sapienza, successfully implemented in IT, UK, FR, ES and DE transferred to Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. The core of the DinoTour project transfer are a series of trainings for pre-school-teachers and teacher- trainers in the new methodology. Now available in Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey! Description: The DINOTOUR project aimed at motivating nursery and pre-school teachers to acquire new vocational skills necessary to teach languages, the innovative aspect being the methodology itself and the fact that in this methodology the teacher is not required to have much previous foreign language knowledge; the effective training of the teachers that are now able to teach FL children in the kindergarten using the narrative fomat and its basic elements: new methodology innovation, the subject of the transfer, principle of bilingualism as described by prof. Teaschner, using the linguistic progression, class activities, the Magic T-shirt, acting out, and having for homework 'watching TV', are the basic elements which the 'magic teachers' step on. In this way, the basic vocabulary of a new language is introduced, children and parents are familiarized with the idea of learning a FL on the principle of bilingualism while children are still young. In order to inspire in children the desire to learn the new language modern media are used: broadcasting, through TV channels and Internet, the educational language cartoon series Hocus and Lotus, a further new element for motivation and for giving exposure to the teaching/learning of languages.the principle of good communication has been kept, which leads to loving the teacher; intersubjectivity and turn taking of conversation also taking place. Thus motivation to speak starts. And in this way the project fulfilled priority 2 from the Call for Proposals 2007 continuous training of teachers and trainers, and transfer new methods for teaching languages to children as young as three, thus facilitating in the implementation of the innovative practices. Project Information and Turkish. The Magic Teacher theory book is a methodological tool for the instruction of languages to young children provided as palnned, including pedagogy to support the long-life learning process as a whole, accompanied by the proper ICT-based educational environment DVD and the VHS series. The Magic Teacher s kit level 1 guide pages 64 plus 3 pages of cover, total 67 pages. Format 21x29,7cm album with instruction in BG, RO and TK,and availability to study the three languages which were added to the originally existing EN, IT, DE, FR, SP. This book adapts the innovative model into the training systems of pre-school education of BG, RO and TK, according to the national educational requirements and integrates them in a tangible resource book, where the different cultural and social linguistic contexts of the targeted countries are expressed in the content of the formats. This book was distributed to all trainees and interested parties in the project, thus DinoTour project integrating the Roman model for training the pre-school teachers in VOLL in the targeted countries educational systems via the pilot schools at first, applying the developed on the basis of CLIL innovation and using it immediately into practice.
