Major Categories of Employees: Classified Certified CPI Data Element Glossary: ASSIGNMENT TYPE CODE identifies whether each assignment is certified (C) or classified (N). ASSIGNMENT TYPE CODE is reported in CPI RECORD TYPE = "C01"; for all active Certified and Classified personnel.
