GREENCHOICE SOLUTION It all starts with a Smart Meter. Energy Analytics can be performed on data collected from the Smart Meter. Customers opt in and purchase hardware for additional services To increase engagement and the customer experience, Greenchoice decided to introduce an affordable gateway device ($20-$30) to extract high granularity data from smart meter. The data is then analyzed using data analytics software to help put context around the energy data. Analytics are then provided through an API straight through to a customer mobile app. Data is then sent by the gateway device through the home router onto cloud services.
