Rationale and/or Options: An advertisement for #2288 UIU Software appeared in the Providence Journal on August 26, 2011. On September 9, 2011 two (2) bids was received and publicly opened. The following bids were received: Big Bang LLC $9,837.50 Professional Information Systems $9,837.50 Action required (vote or informational): Vote Recommendation: Although both bids were identical in price, Big Bang LLC is the original developer of the UIU Software. Our IT Department chose to establish a relationship directly with Big Bang LLC rather than working through a third party re-seller. I respectfully recommend an award to Big Bang LLC in the amount of $9,837.50. 1
