Increasing Access in the Community Today ehealth Ontario is working with community based physicians and other selected practitioners (e.g. Nurse Practitioners) across the province to increase adoption rates of EMRs LHINs Primary Care Physicians Specialists LHINs Primary Care Physicians Specialists Progress Over 9,000 physicians are enrolled in EMR adoption program, representing approximately 9 million Ontarians 2,000 providers will be accessing OLIS by March 2013 Priorities Ongoing EMR Deployment (including Community Health Centre expansion) Increase the number community-based physicians moving forward with an EMR to 11,000 by March 2014. Hospital Reports in Physician Offices ehealth Ontario s hospital discharge strategy impact to date: ~1,300 EMR enabled physicians receive hospital discharge summaries directly into their EMRs ~1,000,000 hospital reports sent in the last three months Hospital report solutions in progress in 12 of 14 LHINs Priorities: Focus is on continued adoption across the province 1,800 care providers will receive hospital reports in their EMRs by Q4 3
OLIS Labs in the hands of clinicians Currently capturing approximately 60% percent of provincial lab data, including 94% of community lab data Progress: Agreements in 13 LHINs, focused on 100% cgta Live with Pro Viewer: St. Michael s Hospital Mt Sinai Credit Valley Hospital/Trillium Health Centre, UHN Sunnybrook Hospital As these five sites come on-line 50 clinicians per site initially, building to a total 34,000+ echildren s Health Network: Pilot completed in September Grey Bruce: 2,053 clinicians The Ottawa Hospital: 1,052 clinicians Approaching 40,000 users 4
Provincial OLIS Update OLIS in the Hands of Clinicians Provincial Focused on 100% completion for 2015 OLIS / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) integration is underway, 2,000 clinicians with spec 4 or above EMRs will be engaging with OLIS by March of 2013 Full roll-out of OLIS to echn initiated, 1,500 clinicians when complete Regional (ConnectingGTA, ConnectingSWO, ConnectingNEO) Connecting Greater Toronto Area OLIS waves underway, current waves building to 27,000 clinical users by Q2 next fiscal Working with cswo and cneo regional planning teams to identify additional OLIS opportunities 5

Regional Integration Hubs - Partnerships ConnectingGTA is one of the three regional integration hubs that will link and integrate electronic patient information from across the care continuum and make it available at the point-of-care to improve the patient and clinician experience Connecting North Eastern Ontario 4 LHINs 2.76M population (21%) The regional integration hubs are being delivered in partnership by ehealth Ontario and its delivery partners. This approach allows us to leverage established regional relationships, knowledge, and expertise.
