SERVICE WHAKATAUKI Na te Ira Atua Te Mana, te Mauri me te tapu O nga mea katoa Ma te pono, te tika me te aroha E whakaahua, te mana, te mauri me te tapu o te tangata Tihei Mauriora! From the realm of gods comes the prestige, life force and sacredness of all things. By truth, correct practice and unconditional love the prestige, life force and sacredness of all people is enhanced Behold the breath of life Na Matiu Rei AROHA Na Ira Atua Na Ira Tangata PONO Mana Mauri Tapu TIKA This logo was designed to represent our service. The two koru within each kowhaiwhai are representative of Te Ira Atua and Te Ira Tangata. The three inner kowhaiwhai patterns represent the mana, mauri and tapu inherent in every person because of their connection with Te Ira Atua. The three external koru represent the principles of pono, tika and aroha. Pono requires telling the truth. The process of telling the truth should be tika, the truth should be told the right way. Aroha is the reason truth is told, a genuine feeling of compassion and regard should underpin all messages of truth. To be pono in a tika way, using aroha, will enable the mana, mauri and tapu of people to be nurtured and strengthened. Rangataua Mauriora is committed to strengthening the mana, mauri and tapu of tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau by adhering to the principles of pono, tika and aroha.
