WHAT DO STUDENTS DO? 75 hours of out of school time arts experiences Most complete hours by November Example of student reflection I went to see an absurd number of theatre shows I really enjoyed the photo/darkroom class I got to take. I attended many concerts and music related events. I really enjoyed listening to Brent Daniels and watching him work with samples on his keyboard. It's amazing to see the various forms of music related careers playing in the variety show, as well as practicing that preceded it. Especially the three days prior to the show where we had an experience that mimicked the tempo of a professional performance I have started to study with the Oleg Rylatko; the concertmaster of the Washington National Opera Orchestra, who perform at the Opera house at the Kennedy Center. This has helped my violin playing to a great degree working on my painting and drawing skills. I really enjoyed the Silk Screening Class at the Lee Arts Center I have loved being a part of the Apprentice program. The opportunities available to us are incredible: seeing Miss Saigon was amazing, as was Velocity of Autumn.
