Application Form Applications close Friday 28 February 2014 Guidelines There are four vocational education and training (VET) study grants of $2000 each available to Territory women who are planning on studying to assist them in returning to work after a period of absence. Eligibility To be eligible to apply you must: be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia have not worked in a full-time position in the last three years have not worked more than 20 hours per week in the last three months be enrolled in a vocational education and training (VET) course. The grant must be used for: payment of course fees, or course materials/tools, or books, or other costs directly associated with the study. Priority will be given to women studying in skill shortage areas. Refer to the Northern Territory Occupation Eligible Qualification List - http://www.dob.nt.gov.au/training/programsfunding/employer-incentive-ntg/pages/eligible-qualification-list.aspx Successful recipients of the 2014 Northern Territory International Women s Day VET Study Grant will be required to: submit results at the end of their course provide a brief one page written report explaining how the grant helped them return to the workforce provide receipts of related expenditure acquitting funds provided.
