Your organization might be implementing some or all of these components, so refer to the sections that are applicable to you. Multi-user Install Content authors use the Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) development tool to create content. This section outlines the technical requirements for a multi-user installation of the UPK development tool. In a multi-user installation, the core UPK development tool files are installed on a central server for content sharing, and a client version of the UPK development tool is installed locally on the content author s workstation. Content Publication This section discusses the system requirements for Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) published output that is, the content that end users will view and use. After creating UPK content using the UPK development tool, content authors will publish the content to one or more different published outputs. There are three types of published outputs discussed in this document: Player, Learning Management System (LMS), and HTML Web site.
