HP Network Integration Service HP Services Technical data HP Network Integration Service provides a flexible way for you to receive HP networking configuration and integration assistance that meets your needs. When you purchase this service, one or more HP network support services technology consultants will be assigned to your organization for a predetermined period of time to assist with mutually agreed-upon HP networking-related configuration and integration activities that you direct. You have the flexibility to choose from a variety of service activities, including advanced configuration of wired and wireless network devices, network integration and interoperability testing, network security implementation, network management installation and configuration, troubleshooting and general consultation on customer-provided designs or implementation plans. You should always consider purchasing HP Network integration Service in conjunction with installation and startup services for HP networking products. Combining these two services will help ensure that your device is properly integrated into your existing network environment. HP Network Integration Service may be delivered either remotely or onsite. HP Network Integration Service is sold in increments of one hour for all offsite remote service assistance. Onsite service assistance requires a minimum purchase of two contiguous days (16 hours) and is provided at a single customer location. Plan and review meeting(s) Prior to the deployment of HP network support services technology consultant(s), HP will work with the Customer to establish the plans, objectives, and tasks to be performed by the assigned HP consultant(s), who will work to meet the Customer-directed network project goals. The assigned HP network support services technology consultant will then be available to discuss and further refine plans, objectives, and tasks as identified by the Customer. These activities provide the Customer with assistance on a broad range of technical topics including, but not limited to: Switched networks: - Implementation assistance - Proof of design testing (concept testing) - Cutover planning and support - IRF implementation - VRRP implementation - Implementing network resiliency/redundancy - Switch hardening - Spanning Tree Protocol integration (STP, MSTP, and RSTP, as well as interoperation with PVST+) - Spanning Tree Protocol hardening - Stacking stackable switches - Inter-switch connections and distributed trunking - Implementation (not design) of add-in modules (e.g. Riverbed, etc.) Switched/Routed networks: - QoS/DSCP/CoS - Configuration of IP networks for SAN design/implementation Wireless networks: - Controller configurations - Onsite problem investigations (surveys) - HP RF Manager - HP IMC Wireless Services Manager Plug-in Security: - ACLs - Firewall installation and configuration - IEEE 802.1X planning and integration - RADIUS/TACACS - SSH/HTTPS (certificate based) management - HP Identity Driven Manager Network management: - HP PCM/PCM+ installation and configuration - Firmware management all HP networking devices General consultation: - Concept review - Short-term planning. - Review of customer implementation plans - Remote or onsite troubleshooting purchase agreement with HP. 3

Customer responsibilities The HP network support services technical consultant s efforts are directed by the Customer. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the Customer to fully and completely identify objectives, starting and end states, and time and operational requirements. The Customer will: Advise HP of any special security, health, and safety matters applicable to the Customer site where the service is to be provided Provide to HP, on request, any information that HP may reasonably request about the execution of the service Coordinate all required third-party participation and cooperation Provide a designated primary contact to communicate with HP on day-to-day issues and coordinate resources Upon request or as needed, assign or make available experienced subject-matter and technical experts Make available any required safety equipment or special requirements Identify any contractual requirements for the use of local unionized/licensed trades The Customer is responsible for any applicable taxes associated with this engagement. It is understood that the Customer is not tax exempt. The Customer will provide HP with a written description of any service assistance required prior to the deployment of HP network technology consultants. Service limitations Onsite service assistance will be provided at one location in the country where the service is sold. General provisions/other exclusions For Integration Service, the minimum HP resource time is two consecutive days of service assistance, totaling a maximum of 16 hours. Service hours are inclusive of onsite and offsite time. Request for flexible work hours requires the purchase of Integration After Hours Service. The onsite/offsite schedule of the HP technology services network consultant will be mutually agreed to prior to the commencement of the service. Network design, unified communications, and SAN design and implementation assistance are outside the scope of this service General Service Provisions For either engagement: HP will stop work when the purchased service hours are exhausted. Service hours must be utilized and redeemed against specific service activities defined by the Customer within 120 days from the date of purchase and are restricted to a single IT environment under the direct day-to-day management of one IT manager in one country. purchase agreement with HP. 5

Service hours will expire at the end of 120 days from the date of purchase if not used. Travel will occur during standard business hours or as jointly agreed to by Customer and HP resources. Travel charges may apply; please consult your local office With respect to the work effort specified by the Customer, HP network support services technical consultants will work toward completion of Customer-specified project goals. Services are deemed accepted upon delivery. Documentation assistance (if any) is performed against the purchased service hours and will be deemed accepted upon delivery. Documentation created for this engagement will be available in electronic format using Microsoft Office. At such time as HP has exhausted 80 percent of the purchased service hours in any HP Technology Services network engagement, the parties will review the status and HP will provide estimates of what, if any, additional time or resources may be required to complete the Customer's project goals. If the parties estimate that more time or resources are needed to complete the project, the Customer will need to purchase additional service hours. When the services provided by the HP technology services network consultant(s) have exhausted the Customer s purchased service hours, HP will stop work. HP will not provide service assistance beyond the service hours purchased by the Customer.
