CLOUD MPA Seies Mixe-Amplifies Clealy bette soun 48.6 mm 19 88 mm 3½ (U) MPA Seies - font panel view (MPA40 illustate) MPA Seies - ea panel view ( illustate) Geneal Desciption The Clou MPA Seies is intene to povie a complete auio solution fo Houses of Woship, etail outlets, hotels, license pemises an othe spaces whee music, announcements an/o flexible paging ae equie. It combines the functions of a fouchannel micophone mixe, full paging facilities, a six-input music souce selecto an a mono powe amplifie in a single U unit. The MPA ange consists of thee moels, which iffe only in the ate powe of the amplifie stage: 60 watts MPA10 10 watts MPA40 40 watts (all atings ae into 4 ohms) The MPA mixe-amplifies have six unbalance steeo line inputs fo music souces, an fou balance micophone inputs. Each micophone input has its own ea panel sensitivity contol an font panel gain contol, allowing multiple mics to be mixe togethe. Each line input has a ea panel sensitivity contol; the equie music souce is selecte by a font panel otay switch an the volume is also ajuste on the font panel. The selecte music souce is mixe with the summe mic signals befoe being fe to the powe amplifie stage. The MPA Seies is compatible with the Clou PM1 single-zone paging micophone, an may also be use fo one of the zones suppote by the Clou PM4/8/1/16 multizone paging micophones. Altenatively, Mic 1 input may be configue to suit most OEM paging systems; paging is activate by a shot-to-goun access connection, an Mic 1 may be configue to have automatic pioity ove the othe mic inputs to pevent announcement clashes. Mic inputs may be selecte to have automatic pioity ove the selecte music souce, an aitionally, one line input may be set to have pioity ove any othe selecte to facilitate connection of a igital soun stoe o simila evice. A pe-announcement chime may also be enable at installation. A ange of EQ cas to match the MPA Seies to vaious popula installe-auio louspeakes is available. A 100/70/5 V tansfome is fitte as stana, an the output stage ives high-impeance line louspeake istibution systems iectly. An intenal jumpe allows the tansfome to be isable, pemitting the amplifie to to be use to ive low-impeance louspeakes. Music level only, o music level an souce selection may be contolle emotely if wishe, using stana Clou emote contol plates. In common with most Clou poucts, a Music Mute Input is povie, which may pemit compliance with local Fie Authoity egulations; the micophone inputs emain active when the Music Mute is applie. All Clou poucts ae exclusively esigne in the UK. Evey Clou pouct is exhaustively teste fo electonic pefomance an sonic pefection in Sheffiel, Englan.

Clealy bette soun Povies amplification an simple contol of music, mic souces an paging in a single unit Available in thee vesions, with output powe atings of 60, 10 o 40 W Integal fou-channel micophone mixe with pe-input sensitivity ajustment Font panel contols fo music souce, music level an level of each mic input Six (unbalance) steeo line inputs with iniviual sensitivity ajustment Fou balance mic inputs 15 V phantom powe available on any o all Selectable 65 hi-pass filte in each mic channel Powe amplifie input limite Sepaate micophone limite cicuit to pevent powe stage limite fom ucking music signal in the pesence of high mic levels Sepaate HF/LF EQ ajustments (ea panel) fo mic signals an music souce Paging contol on Mic 1 input via shot-to-goun access connection Selectable VOX mic-ove-music pioity on all mic Inputs. Any of the music souces can be selecte an the music level contolle fom the RSL emote contol plate at the back of the space. Depening on the size of the aea, any of the thee moels - (60 W), MPA10 (10 W) o MPA40 (40 W) - coul be use. The system is shown with multiple speakes being iven fom the high-voltage (100/70/5 V) output, though in a smalle space, fewe speakes being iven iectly fom the low-impeance output might be moe pactical.

Clealy bette soun System Example - Hospitality suite RADIO MICS X 3 PAGING MIC Rx1 Rx Rx3 MUSCI SOURCES (5 x steeo) MP3 PLAYER DOCK MIC 1 IN MIC 1 ACCESS MIC IN MIC 3 IN MIC 4 IN HI-Z OUTPUT REMOTE LAPTOP LINE 1 LINE MPA40 DTV OX SAT OX LINE 3 LINE 4 LINE 5 CD PLAYER (mono) LINE 6 (PRIORITY) MUSIC MUTE MESSAGE STORE RSL FROM FIRE CONTROL PANEL In this example, a lage aea use fo hospitality puposes is covee by multiple speakes on a 100 V (o 70 V) line istibution system, iven by an MPA40. Any one of five steeo music souces may be selecte in the aea by the RSL emote contol plate, which can also be use to set the volume. Input 6 has its pioity option set, an is connecte to the output of a igital soun stoe, which coul fom pat of a wie builing management system. This woul typically play time, pe-ecoe, non-emegency messages. The MPA40 s multiple mic inputs ae paticulaly useful in such an application, as seveal mics ae often neee simultaneously in eceptions, pesentations, an the like. The example shows thee aio mics which ae in aition to the paging micophone connecte at Mic 1 input. The MPA40 can be configue to give the paging mic pioity ove any music souce, an also othe micophones, if equie. In an emegency situation, all music inputs woul mute une contol of the fie system.
