Anthony commenced his career within the insurance industry in 1989 having worked at a lead broking house as a broker for Heath Lambert before being approached to join Hiscox as part of their non- marine claims team and progressing through to claims management. Since joining the industry Anthony has built up extensive first-hand experience in all aspects of marine, non-marine and energy claims handling, including multifaceted litigation and complex coverage matters. Mark has been working within the marine insurance industry on the claims side since 1987 starting out as a broker for Bowring Camper and Nicholson, part of the Marsh Group, before joining Royal Insurance prior to its merger with Sun Alliance when it became RSA. Mark spent 22 years at RSA working in various capacities in the Marine Claims Department. During that time Mark handled most classes of marine business, starting out on the team, moving into Energy, running the Yacht team and latterly was Senior Claims Adjuster on the Hull and Liability team. Mark s experience includes handling litigation, mediation and coverage disputes at all levels across multiple classes of marine business. Mark holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Law. Helene has been working within the marine industry since 1995 having gained an LLB and LLM in Maritime Law from Southampton University. Following this Helene went on to obtain her ACII and in 2012 became a qualified Chartered Insurer. Helene is fluent in Greek and currently works within the Marine and Energy division of the claims team based in London handling, Fine Art and, Hull, Liability, Transport and Reinsurance claims both for Navigators Syndicate and Navigators Insurance Company. Name: Jade Barker Job Title: Claims Handler Jade joined Navigators in 2014 following five years as a Claims Specialist for AON, based in London, where she handled Hull, and Marine Liability claims. Jade started her insurance industry career in 2007 at Xchanging Claims Services, where she handled and Hull claims under delegated authority for AXIS Capital Company. She then joined AON, where she handled Hull, and Marine Liability claims for large multinational clients. Jade has been an Associate member of the Association of Average Adjusters since qualifying in April 2012. Toni McCoy Assistant Claims Handler Toni has a BA honours degree in Business & Law from Kingston University and has recently gained Dip CII status from the Chartered Institute of Insurance. ROTTERDAM Richard Schenk Rotterdam Marine Claims Handler Richard joined Navigators in 2014 after two and a half years as a Marine Claims Handler in the Rotterdam office of a Lloyd s Syndicate insurer. Richard commenced his career within the insurance industry as a cargo claims adjuster for the Lloyd s agent in Rotterdam in 1989. In that role, Richard dealt with a wide variety of cargo claims for the major Marine Insurance Companies worldwide. In September 1997, his job extended to handle the recovery against liable third parties. In 2002 he took on Hull & Machinery cases, mainly for the German market. During his 25 years in the insurance industry, Richard has gained extensive experience in dealing with a broad spectrum of marine claims, including cargo, hull and liability.
