Temporary Partial Disablement (per week) Not Covered Specific Exclusions applicable The first 100 of each and every claim Any expenses incurred after the first 12 Months of being On Secondment: a) for dental treatment unless incurred following an Accident outside the mouth. b) for the treatment of psychiatric or mental disorders incurred more than 30 days after the date of incurring the first recoverable expense. c) Resulting from or contributed by, directly or indirectly, Pregnancy unless caused by complications of Pregnancy diagnosed by a qualified Medical Practitioner who specialises in obstetrics. d) In excess of GBP50,000 as the result of treatment to a child who has been born outside the United Kingdom during a Journey: i) while such Child is under the age of 6 Months; or ii) on the attaining of the age of 6 months, unless the Child has been declared healthy by a Qualified Medical Practitioner. iii) Involving normal expenses associated with the care of the Child following birth. Specific Warranties and Conditions Precedent Conditions Precedent Section B Travel Sub Section 11 Rental Vehicle Excess Conditions Applicable to Rental Vehicle 1) No claim shall be payable unless the Rental Vehicle has been rented from a licensed Rental Vehicle company. 2) No claim shall be payable unless all requirements of the Rental Vehicle insurance policy has been complied with or any other insurance policy applicable to the Insured Person under which the Insured Person is claiming in respect of loss of or theft of or damage to the Rental Vehicle have been complied with Principal Exclusions Cancellation Curtailment Change of Itinerary: Default of transport or accommodation provider Disinclination to travel An Insured person travelling or intending to travel against the advice of a Qualified medical Practitioner or for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment or advice Regulations made by any Public Authority or Government Kidnap and Extortion: Claims within the United Kingdom and Excluded Countries Any claim for an Insured Person in their Country of Permanent Residence Warnings against travel to a Region Legal Expenses: Legal Proceedings between an Insured Person and the Policyholder or any other Insured Person Costs relating to a claim or counter-claim made against an Insured Person by any other party Any claim arising out of the criminal wilful deliberate reckless or intentional act of an Insured Person Medical and other travel expenses: Any Emergency Repatriation Expenses incurred without the agreement/approval of AonProtect Assiustance Expenses incurred after 24 months Travelling against medical advice or for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment Money: Losses of Financial Cards or other documents not reported to appropriate authorities within 48 hours of discovery Personal Belongings and Business Equipment: Household items and Vehicles or their accessories Items left in unlocked vehicles For any Personal Belongings and Business Equipment sent as freight air waybill or bill of lading Personal Liability: Injury to Employees or family members Punitive or exemplary damages in the USA or Canada Liability assumed by the Insured Person under contract or agreement unless such liability would have attached in the absence of such contract or agreement Personal Security Specialist Expenses: Any fraudulent dishonest or criminal act of the Policyholder or Insured
Person Political and Natural Disaster Evacuation: Evacuation of an Insured Person from their Country of Permanent Residence Evacuation organised and undertaken without the prior consent and agreement of Aon Protect Assistance Rental Vehicle Excess: Caused deliberately by the Insured Person Damage that existed at the start of the period of rental Travel Delay: Strike or industrial action which existed or of which advance notice had been given on or before the date the Journey was booked Kidnap & Extortion: AonProtect Assistance must be informed immediately or as soon as reasonably possible of any situation that may give rise to a claim The security specialist engaged by the Insurers as part of AonProtect Assistance shall take over and control all negotiations on behalf of the Policyholder and no offer promise or payment shall be made by the Policyholder or their representatives without the express consent of the Insurers Legal Expenses: Cooperation Control of legal proceedings Personal Liability: No admission of liability Notice of prosecution - immediate Personal Security Specialist Expenses: AonProtect Assistance must be informed immediately or as soon as reasonably possible of any situation that may give rise to a claim Any extrication must be organised by AonProtect Assistance who will use the most appropriate method including if necessary the attendance of a security specialist to accompany the Insured Person Political and Natural Disaster Evacuation: AonProtect Assistance must be informed immediately or as soon as reasonably possible of any situation that may give rise to a claim or as soon as reasonably possible thereafter Rental Vehicle Excess: No claim shall be payable unless the Rental Vehicle has been rented from a licensed Rental Vehicle company Specific Condition applicable For Secondees covered on a Full Period Cover basis the following Sections/Sub-sections will not apply in respect of Effective Time A: Section B Travel: Subsections 2. Hijack; 3. Kidnap, Ransom and extortion; 9 Personal Security Specialist Expenses; 10. Political and Natural Disaster Evacuation; and 11. Rental Vehicle Excess. Effective Time A shall mean 24 hours a day whilst in the Country of secondment and whilst travelling to or from the Country of Secondment from or to the United Kingdom. Effective Time B shall mean whilst on a Journey.
