RESEARCH ACTIVITIES I obtained my Ph.D. in 2010 from the Doctorate School in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT, www.ict.unimo.it) of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and I'm now a PostDoc Researcher of the DBGroup (www.dbgroup.unimo.it) within the Department of Information Engineering of the same university. During 2009 I was a Research Intern at the IBM Almaden Research Center of San Jose, California, working on data integration, data as a service approaches and cloud computing. My research interests are in the field of Knowledge Representation, Data Integration and Semantic Web, and recently also in the area of DaaS (Data as a Service) approaches and cloud computing. In particular my research activity has been lately devoted to the integration of data and services, studying new approaches to the aggregated search of data and semantic web services to realize the translation of a data query into a keyword-based service discovery process on the basis of an ontological representation of data and services related to a domain.
