Accounting 414 and Accounting 431 are both prerequisites to the MAcc program; therefore, students planning to enter the MAcc program should take both Accounting 414 and Accounting 431 instead of FINC 455 in the finance collateral, INMT 442 in the information management collateral, SCM 411, 412, 413, or 421 in the supply chain management collateral, or one of the three required courses in the international business collateral. Students lacking placement into the same foreign language via the placement test (when applicable) or prerequisite sequence courses, will take the prerequisite to this sequence: one year of elementary foreign language. 7 Students pursing the International Business Collateral/Dual Concentration will be required to complete a study abroad experience approved by the College of Business Administration Undergraduate Programs Office and represented by enrollment in International Business 489 (0 Hours). PSCC Hours 0-1 UTK Hours 0 Total 120-121 Transfer Transition Guides These guides (unless indicated) provide an eight-semester plan for earning an associate degree at Pellissippi State Community College and a baccalaureate degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. When students enter UT Knoxville, they must meet the standards and follow the procedures outlined in the University s current Undergraduate Catalog. 1. Student transferring to UT Knoxville from two-year institutions must complete 0 semester at a senior institution. 2. The final 30 semester must be completed in residence at UT Knoxville. 3. Starting in fall of 2015, transfer students will have their progress tracked with utrack a tool that identifies milestones that are designed to keep students on track for timely graduation. For the 2014-2015 Transfer Transition Guides, milestone courses are indicated in red. Transfer students and counselors should review the UT Knoxville catalog (http://catalog.utk.edu/) for question concerning milestone completion for specific majors. 4. Students whose native language is not English may complete the foreign language requirement found in many transition guides by completing the English Composition requirement and any two-course literature sequence.

5. Grades earned at other colleges and universities are used only for admission, course placement, and other academic decisions at UT Knoxville. Although grades earned at other colleges and universities are not included in the UT Knoxville GPA, many UT Knoxville programs require a grade of "C" or higher in certain courses including freshman composition.
