Introduction This document describes the implemented changes and improvements in PrimeView TM 5.0 compared to version 1.0. Installation options PrimeView now supports Windows 2000 and XP. Windows NT 4 is no longer supported. User information A license information dialog box is shown when the software is started. A link to the Amersham Biosciences website is available in the About dialog box. The help and user manuals have been improved. The user manual is now available from the help menu in an online version. User interface The latest search paths are saved in file dialog boxes. Several dialog boxes have been redesigned. Operational features Result file integrity has been improved. An integrity check has been added in accordance with CFR 21 part 11. Time zone information is added to all time stamps. PrimeView PrimeView 5.0 vs 1.0 The marker functionality in the curve window has been extended to show the Min, Max and Average values from a reference point. A Find function has been added for the Logbook Flyover text in the curve window is always enabled for marks and logbook texts. The flyover shows all marks and logbook texts at a breakpoint. Snapshots of curve values can be taken at the marker position. The contents of the curve window can be copied to a Windows enhanced metafile. PrimeView Evaluation Original curves are underlined to distinguish the original data from copied curves and calculated baselines. Two y-axis can be used in the curve window (left and right). Flyover text in the curve window is always enabled for marks and logbook texts. Breakpoints with more than one entry are marked. The flyover shows all entries at a breakpoint. A Find function is available both for the logbook and the evaluation log. Time zone information has been added to the evaluation log. Snapshots of curve values can be taken at the marker position. The snapshots can be saved and printed. The Edit Baseline function has been improved. The Peak Integrate and Edit Peak Table functions have been improved, including functionality to edit the peaks graphically. An option to hide global data in the peak table window and in printouts has been added. Thick lines are now the default selection for printout. Discrete curves can now be exported.
