Includes tips and tricks for communicating with students and creating activities that encourage connection. Adobe Connect See how you can hold office hours, tutoring sessions, special events and more in your own virtual meeting space using Adobe Connect conferencing software. Closed Captioning Your Videos for Blackboard Learn how to use simple tools to add captoning to your instructional videos for use online. Web Development 2.5 hrs Create a simple webpage and learn a basic guide to HTML. This session will focus on the fundamentals necessary to build a web page. Hands-on training will include basic HTML, page formating, and making your web documents available on the internet. Professional and amateur journalists use blogs to publish breaking news. Learn to use this tool and integrate it into student learning activities.

Find out why AWC Instructors prefer to use particular file formats Uploading Multimedia Files to the AWC Streaming Server Find out how to store images, audio, and video files on the AWC streaming server for use in Blackboard or other online applications such as web pages or blogs. Producing a Video Introduction for Your Blackboard Course Learn how to plan and prepare for recording a video introduction to your Blackboard course using Adobe Visual Communicator in the AWC Instructional Television Studio.
