Step 1 Iron (low heat) or steam the academic dress and hood before use.

Step 2.2 Fasten together by using the: (i) Zipper (Gown Type A) or (ii) Hook & eye (Gown Type B) Gown Type A: Zipper Gown Type B: Hook & Eye

Step 3.1 Place the hood over the shoulders with the V end of the hood facing front.
Step 3.2 Secure the hood to by fastening its hook onto the: (i) Puller of the zipper (Gown Type A) or (ii) 1st Hook & Eye of (Gown Type B) 3.2 Attaching the hood to Gown Type A: Puller Gown Type B: 1st Hook & Eye
Step 3.3 To prevent the hood from slipping off the shoulders easily, use (i) the Velcro on (Gown Type A) or (ii) safety pins (Gown Type B) and secure it to. 3.3 Securing the hood to Gown Type A: Velcro Gown Type B: Safety Pin
