About StorPool StorPool is the leading vendor of distributed storage software. Our innovative solution eradicates the typical problems of current storage architectures - extremely high costs, performance limitations, low scalability. Our typical customers include Cloud Builders of various types - from service providers to enterprises - with the need of powerful, reliable and affordable data storage infrastructure. We believe that in 5 years storage will be predominantly run on standard x86 Servers, managed by intelligent storage software. Looking back - more than 15 years ago compute was run on Mainframes. Now it is all run on standard, virtualized servers. Storage is not there yet because "it is impossible". Well, with StorPool, now it is possible. Our mission is to take data storage to the next level of efficiency, reliability and performance. This is the way data storage should be in the 21-st century! The Problem with storage today In any datacenter today, you would find this: a number of servers handling computation and running applications - ERP/CRM systems, mail servers, databases, web sites, virtual machines, etc. These servers run the business. There is also a network, connecting servers to specialized storage boxes (storage arrays or SANs) that store the data. This is an outdated centralized architecture, a concept of the past century. It does not fit current IT and business demands and has many disadvantages. StorPool, 2015 Page 2 of 5

StorPool's approach StorPool allows you to build storage out of standard servers. You can even use the same servers for running applications (compute) and for storage. This solution is better in both technical and business terms. StorPool is software installed on a number of servers. It then aggregates the performance and capacity of all drives (HDDs and SSDs alike) into a shared storage pool, distributed between these servers. You can think of it as a virtualized SAN or your own Amazon-like storage. StorPool has higher reliability, performance and scalability than traditional storage arrays. It is also simpler and more flexible. It is several times cheaper. What was once considered impossible is now a reality. StorPool provides many unique advantages. We can group them into four major points: Reliability - StorPool is highly reliable due to its distributed architecture Performance - StorPool is super fast due to the massive parallelism in data processing Scalability - StorPool scales seamlessly in both capacity and performance Lower Cost - StorPool radically reduces Total Cost of Ownership and increases Return on Investment StorPool, 2015 Page 3 of 5

Why choose StorPool? Lower costs (TCO) StorPool works on standard (OEM, white label) hardware and still provides high reliability and performance. It is radically better in resource utilization which allows companies to benefit from lower TCO and higher ROI. "Pay-as-you-grow" pricing StorPool has "pay-as-you-grow" license model. It is one of the first storage vendors to align pricing of storage with the business demands for flexibility and operational expenses - we shift high CAPEX to affordable OPEX. Still we can offer CAPEX option if needed. Reliability StorPool works by replicating and distributing data across many drives, located in different servers (and racks). If a drive, server or even half of the cluster fails - the data is still available. It is much more reliable and efficient than traditional storage architectures. Data protection Data errors such as silent data corruption, phantom/partial/misplaced writes are all common for any current storage system, handling many terabytes of data. Our built in end-to-end data integrity ensures no such errors occur. Performance StorPool's replication mechanism delivers higher performance as well. Data is read and written from and to many drives in parallel, aggregating not only the capacity, but also the performance of all drives in the system. Scalability StorPool allows you to scale-out - in other words to increase storage capacity gradually by adding just one drive or server at a time! Compare this with currently typical "fork-lift" upgrades (which are exactly what they sound ). Increased utilization StorPool is the only solution that can practically run Compute AND Storage on the same servers. By doing so, companies can use one set of servers for both running applications and storing data. In this way, they save on CAPEX, space, utility costs and maintenance. Hardware independent StorPool, unlike other storage systems, can use mix of different servers from various vendors and drives of different type / size / speed. StorPool, 2015 Page 4 of 5
