Factsheet Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) SecureRack vdatacenter

1. SecureRack vdatacenter Our SecureRack vdatacenter allows you to design your own virtual Datacenter IaaS and to adapt it at any time to your current requirements. You administrate your resources, can establish any number of virtual machines and adjust many network settings. 1.1 Benefits No investment in your own server infrastructure You only pay one fee for your resource pool, irrespective of the number of servers you operate. Your resource pool can be extended or reduced at any time. This provides you with maximum flexibility. Maximum security due to extensive firewall protection. You have full administrative access and can define various access rights. Simple control panel to manage your IT infrastructure. You can create a resource pool with any number of servers. All servers and data are located in Switzerland. Maximum redundancy due to several data centres at different locations. 100 Mbps bandwidth included free of charge. No long-term contractual ties. You can terminate your contract from one month to the next. 1.2 Technology Dell Server with 16C Intel CPU Powerful 10 Gbps SAN with SSDa (SSD Accelerated Storage) Highly available environment with automated failover Full control (root, admin) over all servers Support of all operating systems, including Linux,Windows, FreeBSD Freely configurable firewall Backup and restore, snapshot functions integrated Huge selection of predefined server templates Hardware support for 256-bit AES encryption (10x faster) Console access to your servers SecureRack by info@securerack.com Page 2 of 8

1.3 Prices Basic fee EUR 9.- CPU RAM SSDa Storage Backup / Snapshot IPv4 addresses 100-Mbps-Internet EUR 5.- / CPU EUR 10.- / GB EUR 2.90 / 10 GB EUR 1.90 / 10 GB EUR 4.- / IP Free of charge Licences (optional): Windows licences (7 / 8) Windows server licences (2008 / 2012) EUR 9.50 / VM EUR 19.- / VM Prices per month, excluding VAT (Status: July 2014, subject to modifications) 2. Security SecureRack solutions have been designed for maximum security from the start. Our solutions include maximum security and control over your IT infrastructure. Your offer includes safety characteristics that only very few companies have implemented in their internal IT systems. A server at SecureRack is in many ways safer than a server in your own LAN. 2.1 Network We have established direct links to all Swiss networks (z.b. SWISSCOM, UPC Cablecom etc.) to ensure optimal connectivity to the Swiss Internet. This implies that data packets will be transferred directly, thus ensuring maximum security for all data transmissions within Switzerland. We use some of the best European service providers and link up with Asia through connections to the two largest Asian service providers. Data packets to Asia are directly routed to Asia, without a detour via European or American partner companies. SecureRack by info@securerack.com Page 3 of 8

2.2 Firewall All our quotations include professional firewalls. You can provide individual firewall settings for each server. You can also activate a further, additional firewall as required. Your servers are therefore protected by several firewalls. Only a few small and medium-sized companies have security structures of such high quality today. 2.3 Encoding (with AES Hardware Support) All our servers have commands for hardware-supported AES encryption. It allows you to encrypt your data in real time with AES 256 bit, one of the safest currently available encryption methods, without affecting the performance of your severs. The speed of encryption is ten times higher than without hardware support. 2.4 100% Swiss All your servers and data are 100% located in Switzerland. Our infrastructure is distributed over several datacenters in Switzerland. In addition, we offer all our customers full transparency regarding the exact location of their servers and where their data are stored (datacenter, rack). The high legal security, the strong data protection laws and Swiss tradition of confidentiality make Switzerland an ideal location for your company. 3. Technology Our infrastructure is designed for maximum security and maximum performance. 3.1 Virtualisation Our virtualisation technology is based on KVM servers. Our technology facilitates complete separation of VM and the hypervisor operating system. This separation is much safer than containerbased virtualisation in which VAM and host share certain operating system elements. Most VPS offers on the market work with container-based virtualisation that does not satisfy our security requirements. Our Customer Isolation Module (CIM) has three main functions: Secure VLAN: CIM facilitates safe sharing of VLANs between VMs. Private VLANs: CIM allows each customer to own an individual network segment (hardware VLAN). CIM firewall: CIM includes its own firewall that provides an additional level of security. SecureRack by info@securerack.com Page 4 of 8

3.2 High level segmentation Each unit of our environment includes 12 hypervisor servers. This SecureRack vdatacenter unit is completely independent, has its own CISCO firewall, own storage access and own administration and backup logic. This high level of segmentation into completely independent units significantly improves security. 3.3 Fourfold firewall protection Our solution offers fourfold firewall protection. In each case this includes a firewall in the customer network, on the hypervisor and in the actual VMs. These firewalls can be supplemented by an additional firewall in our Datacenter network on request. CISCO firewall in the Datacenter. Hypervisor firewall: Use of the safety characteristics of the KVM server to ensure separation of the VM and the data. CIM firewall: An additional firewall is integrated in the CIM module. This firewall offers additional protection. VM firewall: This firewall is inside the actual VM. 3.4 Server We always make use of the latest Dell Intel servers. The specifications for the servers in current use are as follows: CPU - 16 C (2x Intel Xeon E5-2450L with 8C, 20M Cache, 8.0 GT/s QPI, 70W, Turbo) RAM - 96 GB RAM with 1600 MHz DISK - 2x SSD with RAID 1 (for OS, customer data are saved in the storage unit) NETWORK - 2x 10 GbE 3.5 Templates A variety of server templates is available to you. You can use them to configure a server with the desired properties within minutes. We not only offer a selection of operating systems such as Linux or Windows, but also have various prepared server templates with commonly used applications. This allows you to provide a completely pre-configured server with the applications required. SecureRack by info@securerack.com Page 5 of 8

3.6 Datacenter The datacentres offer maximum security in any regard. We use the Equinix ZH5, ZH4 and ZH1 datacentres for our IT infrastructure. Energy supply security is provided by using two independent power substations Medium voltage supply via separate transformers Two independent power circuits supported by an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) Generator backup with N+1 configuration Water-cooled system with an additional ammonia and hybrid cooling step Sensitive early-warning system for fires and automated fire-extinguishing system (Hi-FOG) Physical and biometric access control Central infrastructure monitoring (CCTV/BMS), 7 x 24 x 365 security service Certifications: PCI-DSS (FINMA directives), ISO9001/27001, FACT (Federation against Copyright Theft) Datacenter uptime: 99.999 (High Availability (HA) acc. to Harvard Research Group (HRG)) 4. Support 4.1 Service Level Agreement (SLA) Support benefits: SLA Support times Maximum response time Monthly costs Basic Monday - Friday 8 AM 12 AM 1 PM 5 PM* 4 hours Included * Swiss local time; GMT+1 / except public holiday Contact to be made by e-mail, ticket-system and/or telephone SecureRack by info@securerack.com Page 6 of 8
