They understand the focus of the requirements and create a test strategy. The QA environment. At this point, the test team runs the acceptance tests as defined or approved by the client. In some cases, the testing team helps deploy the application at the client site and assists in the acceptance testing done by the client. The team also works with the client to identify the right set of acceptance tests that will be run to accept the application. All defects are logged into a defect tracking system. Once the application has reached the predefined quality levels and meets all the functionality criteria, the test team promotes the software to the staging or pre-production.
