At Crichlow Data Sciences, inc., we are constantly making enhancements to our flagship product,. Once again, significant improvements have been made to the version 6 series, including... New Bar-Code Label Design! New Inventory Report Design! Mix-N-Match Discounting! Set On Sale Pricing By The Hour! Buy So Many, Get So Many at a Discount Promotional Pricing! Use Credit Cards to Pay Accounts Payable! Run Point Of Sale and Back Office Functions Simultaneously! Vista Ready! Both 32 Bit and 64 Bit Versions! New Bar-Code Label Format For Zebra Bar-Code Printers! Old Label Formats New Label Formats New bar-code labels have been designed to incorporate a larger price, making it easier for your customers to view the price on price labels and shelf tags. On the 2 inch label, you even have the option of printing the price with a reverse background, which gives the label extra pop! Call Today! 1-800-678-4535

New Report Design! Version 6.0 The inventory reports have been redesigned to include bold department, category, and sub-category headings, as well as shaded totals to make the reports easier to follow. Set On-Sale Pricing by the Hour! Do you want to run hourly specials? Version 6 is the answer! Whether setting sales prices individually through Inventory Maintenance, or when setting sale prices en masse, you can specify a range of hours to run the sales promotion. 2 Call Today! 1-800-678-4535

Version 6.0 Mix-N-Match Discounting! can do mix and match sale pricing. For example, let's say that you sell 6 different varieties of Clos Du Bois wine. Each bottle is $23.79, but you wish to sell a mixed case (12 bottles) for $180. Mix-n-Match tables are based on department, category and sub-category, so you must make selections for these fields first. Then set pricing, which can be a percentage off retail, or a quantity for price, as shown in the illustration on the left. Set your dates for the promotion, and if you want, you can even set a range of hours for the sale for each day of the promotion. Select your items and you are done! At point of sale, the system automatically keeps track of mix-n-match items, calculating any applicable discounts for you, as shown on the left. The savings are then printed on the bottom of the receipt. Call Today! 1-800-678-4535 3

Version 6.0 Buy So Many, Get So Many at a Discount Promotional Pricing! Ever want to do a Buy One, Get One Free or similar type of sale. Well now you can! Here is an example of such a sale involving cigarettes, where if the customer buys three packs, they get the fourth pack free. In this example, 3 packs were sold and the system automatically prompted for the sale of the free pack! Run Point Of Sale and Back Office Functions Simultaneously! If you have a single user system, you can now have the point of sale window and any one back office function window up simultaneously! No more having to exit point of sale to access, let s say, inventory receiving. And if you are in the middle of an inventory function like receiving, you no longer have to exit inventory receiving to access point of sale to ring up a customer. Just click on the point of sale window to process the sale. When you are done, click back on the receiving window to complete the receiving. 4 Call Today! 1-800-678-4535

Version 6.0 Microsoft Windows Vista Ready! has been tested on Windows Vista, both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions. However, the 64 bit version requires that you use specific receipt printers and other POS devices. This is due to the fact that many manufactures have not yet completed new drivers for the 64 bit operating systems. Consult with your salesperson, or tech support for details. Pay Accounts Payable Invoices By Credit Card! Version 6.0 now allows you to pay accounts payable invoices by credit card! Set up is extremely easy. Simply add the general ledger account to the chart of accounts. Then you are ready to begin paying a/p invoices by credit card. When paying the invoice, enter the date paid, and select credit card as the method of payment. The system automatically makes journal entries to a separate payable account in the general ledger. When you actually create and pay the invoice for the credit card itself, you can break down and distribute the crdit card bill in the General Store to inventory, shipping, fuel, etc. CallToday! With version 4.01, simply select the Retrieve by line... option when retrieving a quote or order. Then select the quote or order you wish to retrieve. Now select the items you wish to sell off the quote or The selected items will be placed in the main point of sale screen where you can then complete the transaction. Now you can use USB printers, and if using a thermal printer, you can even print company logos, transaction bar codes, and on the Star TSP100, you can even print coupons!. now supports the Zebra Lp2824 bar code printer, and yes, it uses the printers drivers. Version 5.0! Version 5.0 - Time Clock! Have hourly employees? Need to track their hours? Version 5 allows you to take tighter control of time and attendance. Set your employees as hourly, set your time clock station and you are ready to go! also includes complete employee time reporting. Version 5.0 - Buy-Downs For Tobacco Retailers! Do you sell tobacco products in your store? If you do, then chances are that you need accurate buy-down tracking for the major tobacco product manufactures, since they pay you based on the buydown amount and the number of products you sell during the buy-down period. The General Store version 5.0 provides for buy-down creatiion and reporting at the inventory level. Call Today! 1-800-678-4535 9

Version 5.0! Version 5.0 - Gift Card Processing! With the release of Version 5.0, now supports gift card processing, both through internally generated gift cards, and pre-printed cards that you can purchase through Crichlow Data Sciences, Inc., or through your own supplier. The greatest benefit to the new gift card capability is that it is completely internal. There are no third party processing fees whatsoever. This even holds true for multi-store installations! All cards should use a bar-code for the card number, and should be limited to a maximum of 10 numeric characters. Version 5.0 - Customer Loyalty! The new customer loyalty program in the General Store version 5.0 was designed around the parameters used by several big box retailers. In essence, these retailers award points for every dollar purchased. For example, let's say that the customer receives $4.00 in loyalty rewards dollars for every 10,000 points they accumulate. This is, of course, 4% cash back. 5% cash back would equate to $5.00 for every 10, 000 points accumulated. However, unlike the big box retailers, the General Store awards points dynamically, making them available immediately at POS, on the payments screen (loyalty has it's own line on the transaction tender screen). You can even create an automatic payment entry (optional at loyalty setup) with a prompt as to whether you want to accept it or not for the current transaction. Therefore, using the above example, if the customer's accumulated points only equal 6,250, then the customer has $2.50 cash back available. 10 Call Today! 1-800-678-4535

Version 5.0! Version 5.0 - Credit Card Processing Through Mercury Payment Systems! We have now added another processor to our list of credit card processing companies. Mercury Payment Systems. Process credit card, debit cards, and checks with this new seamless interface. Call Today! 1-800-678-4535 11
