View of My Mileage Log Enter details of all of your monthly trips here. Note: All daily mileage should be totaled per day and entered as one trip. Example: You traveled to three cities in one day, Start at CSUSB to Redlands 12 miles, Riverside 15 miles from your location in Redlands, then to Ontario for 10 miles then finally back to CSUSB from Ontario 13 miles. Entry would be as follows : Location: Redlands, Riverside, Ontario Miles: 50 New Calendar Function We have a new calendar control that comes with many convinient features. For example: Selecting a Day: is very easy with the nice claendar drop down. PageUp/PageDown will toggle the Month +/- or up/down arrows will toggle the Day Selecting Times: you can type in the time in various accepted ways Example: -2 pm Enter: 1400, or 2p and it will automatically adjust. PageUp/PageDown will toggle the Hour +/- or up/down arrows will toggle the Minute Cntrl + N for now or Current Time 2 P age
Adding Log Detail After entering mileage information for that day Click the link Add to Log Or Cancel To clear the fields. After Adding to the Log You will notice that an entry is made to the mileage log. Note: If you need to correct an entry, click on the delete link next to the line item itself, and just re-create the line detail. 3 P age
Creating a Mileage Claim When all you your detail has been entered for the month, you are ready to create a Mileage Claim Click on the Create a Mileage Claim icon to launch a New Mileage Claim The Mileage Claim will come up with the traveler s profile information automatically. Note: If you need to update your mailing address for Travel purposes, you can do that here. By changing your profile and clicking on the link that reads Update Profile With Any Changes This function will notify the travel department to update your address for Travel Purposes, Not for HR. 4 P age
Note: If you travel for more than one department, you must notify Travel so we can add the department option when creating a claim. If you can travel for multiple departments the box on the upper left hand side will be available to choose the proper department. If you only travel for one department then there will be no box to choose from. The routing of your claim will depend on which department you select, the claim will then proceed forward to the proper approval chain depending on the department. At this point we are taking all log entries from MY Mileage Log entered by the traveler into the Mileage Claim. 5 P age
Enter the Purpose It is important to enter the purpose of your mileage claim here. You can be very descriptive here. You cannot proceed without entering a valid purpose. Mileage Claim for Multiple Months If you have information for several months it is possible to submit one claim for multiple months by selecting the appropriate option. Mileage Claim for Single Month If you have multiple months in your log and only want to submit a claim for the first months activity be sure to make the selection Select radio button Only the first month Note: When selecting the different options the Mileage Subtotal and the Total Mileage Rate will automatically recalculate. Claim for All Unclaimed Mileage If you have multiple months in your log and only want to submit a claim for the all months or activity be sure to make the selection Select radio button All unclaimed mileage in Log Note: 7 P age

View Status of a Claim Navigate to: Travel Claims View My Claims My Claims My claims is a list of your claims and the various possible status. Here you can see the current Status of your claims. In the future you will be able to see other types of travel documents here. 10 P age
