The Executive MBA in Health Administration program is designed for healthcare professionals who have a minimum of three years administrative or clinical experience in the healthcare industry. A baccalaureate or advanced degree from an accredited college or university is required for admission. Applications are accepted until May 31, and admission is competitive. We seek applicants who have great promise for success and who have demonstrated accomplishments in healthcare. The GMAT is not required, but GMAT or GRE scores are encouraged for applicants who lack management experience or who have a low undergraduate GPA. Tuition covers all textbooks and instructional materials, including breakfast and lunch while you are on campus. Students should budget for the additional costs of transportation to Denver, lodging for approximately 30 nights over the two years, and evening meals. ScholArShipS Several scholarships are available each year. Students who are accepted into the program and who apply for financial aid are automatically considered. The scholarships are awarded after the class is filled in July. Most students qualify for subsidized and unsubsidized student loans. program Structure The Executive MBA in Health Administration Program is a hybrid program with an on-campus and online component. Each course is introduced on campus during one of the one-week required oncampus sessions each year in July and January. The on-campus component consists of three or four half-day lectures for each course, where students meet their professors and classmates. Lectures, group activities and quizzes take place during these on-campus sessions. The on-campus sessions are an important part of the program and help to form the bonds between students and professors. When the nine weeks are completed students receive a one-week break before beginning the next round of two courses online for nine weeks.
