FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND COMMERCE Bachelor's Degree in International Business Intake 2013-2017 Program Mission Undergraduate international business programs prepare students to conduct business or manage companies in a variety of global markets. It provides a foundation of business fundamentals and builds on that foundation with specialized courses in international business. In addition, graduates will gain fluency in another language, cross-cultural skills and first-hand international experience. Program Learning Outcomes Students graduating from our program will be able to: 1. Interpret legal, economic and cultural aspects of international business operations. 2. Identify international business opportunities and develop viable international business plans. 3. Integrate general and international business skills for effective problem-solving. 4. Apply marketing principles in designing strategies for international business. 5. Demonstrate proficiency in working with the actual tools of international business (e.g. contract negotiation, import-export, insurance, transportation, international payment, currency trading, international investment) to succeed in business and/or graduate school. 6. Apply ethical principles and professional standards to specific bussiness dilemmas. 7. Demonstrate life-long learning skills. 8. Demonstrate productive work as individuals and in groups. 1
Requirements for Graduation Students must also satisfy the following requirements: Careers Not facing prosecution 142 credits 2.0 GPA National Defense Certificate and a Physical Education Certificate TOEIC 550 or equivalent in validity Graduates find work as international business professionals in Vietnam or overseas or combine the major with study in another professional area to promote their global professional mobility.
