Course Overview This course is designed to focus on the importance of human resource responsibilities across the organization and not limit it to the official HR department. We will learn why organizations must tie HRD to their strategic plan, have support from all levels of management (top down), clearly communicate to all employees, and empower those charged with the task. Additionally, we will discuss the process of developing, implementing, and evaluating an HRD program. After having these

The primary end product of this assignment is an action plan concerning how you plan to close the gap between your current and your desired situation. The paper must follow MLA guidelines, be in Word format, at least 4-5 pages in length, doublespaced, and include a Works Cited page with at least 3 sources. There should also, be AT LEAST 3 parenthetical internal citations within the text of your paper (this means you must have quotes, statistics, etc backed up with a source from the Works Cited sheet). In citing Internet sources (i.e. executiveplanet.com), even if you use several articles from one website, the website itself is an individual source (This is similar to using several articles from one individual newspaper).
