EN solar energy Soitec CPV Installations
A worldwide track record 9 years of field experience with the first demo installed in 2005 6 years of commercial CPV power plants Soitec is a leading Concentrator Photovoltaic (CPV) modules and systems provider with almost 80 MW p installed in 28 countries around the globe. In 2014 Soitec added major milestones to it s track record: The Touwsrivier CPV power plant in South Africa with 1,500 CPV systems and a capacity of 44.19 MW p started operation. Also the Desert Green project in the USA with a capacity of 8.90 MW p has been completed succesfully. Installed but not yet operational is the CPV power plant in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, for which Saudi Aramco selected Soitec s CPV technology. In China the second phase of Focusic s 20 MW p Hami project has been installed as well. Focusic first built a 2.64 MW p pilot plant which was inaugurated in July 2013. Based on the high performance of the first phase, Focusic decided to use Soitec s CPV technology for the entire project. 28 countries Cumulated capacity installed in MW p where Soitec CPV modules and systems are installed 80 70 60 50 40 30 20 10 0 79.32 MW p 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 Dec. 2014
