Why Bursa Why Bursa? Bursa lies in the northwestern part of Turkey near the Sea of Marmara, about 20 km inland. Bursa was the first major city the Ottomans, who started as a small emirate in the countryside just east of Bursa, had taken control of. In the first floor there are radiologic imaging and supportive units, in the second floor polyclinics, endoscopy unit and minor surgery operating room, in the third floor operating room and rooms for one day stay patients. At registration we get personal identification and knowledge about their illness, then patients interview with their doctor before tests and treatments. In our surgery center laboratory and radiologic tests can be done at the same time and also biopsies and minor operations can be performed at the same day. We get laboratory results the day after, biopsy histopathologic results in 2-3 days and operative histopathologic results at least in 1 week. Knowledge about some results are given to patients by phone. Patients stay only daily in our surgery center.
