But she transferred to the Bloch School after learning about Kansas City s status as a major business hub in the Midwest. Ma, a finance major, was attracted by Kansas City s large finance and banking community, as well as the Bloch School s proximity to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Also attractive were the low cost of living and Kansas City s vibrant neighborhoods and cultural attractions. Today, Ma works for an asset management company, researching global companies from her office in the heart of America.
