The core curriculum of the General Psychology program is designed to provide the entry-level graduate student with a solid grounding in the basic science foundations of psychology. The curriculum focuses on understanding both normal and atypical behavior. Active learning is emphasized with many opportunities for internships and independent research. In general, students are stimulated to think critically and communicate ideas clearly so they can better understand themselves and others.
